Woohoo!!! Sorting is one of my favorite hobbies (after list-making and filing, which is really just specialized sorting).

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy in the thread title, went in because the Guardians peaked my interest. Read the thread, and still have no clue what the hell is being discussed.
Lots of one sided whining going on though.......

It started on page 3 of the "Which figures got better with the new rules ?" thread when HapPolnareff basically started saying that the GotG were impossible to win with and some others defended them (no pun intended, I swear).

A new thread was started so as not to keep expanding beyond the initial 7 or 8 it had already taken up in the original thread.

Ah, ok now it's starting to make sense!

I personally like The GotG. I've played them quite a few times, but I play them in fun games where we are not competing for a prize. In those kind of games they do very well and I recall even winning a few times. They are not bad pieces at all (of course I have never used TK on the team so I guess I never knew what I was missing) but they are also not ultra competitive new hotness Nightcrawler pieces like everyone seems to want their favorite characters and teams to be.
Let's face it, some teams are going to be relegated to fun status over competitive status when they are made for this game it's just the way it is.
The Guardians are still a fun team and I won't stop playing them because of a TK rule change. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we'll get a new Guardians of the Galaxy version of Drax, Aleta, Vance Astro, Flagg, Cosmo, Nova, Quasar, and Adam Warlock. Once the roster is filled out things may work better, if not that's not going to stop me from playing them.
I just don't expect to win a fight against the JLA!
