You guys know I'm just a regular Deadpool fan (and not a HUGE Deadpool fan), right? Like Danerys, I just kept getting him over and over (in K-ness games) and had fun RPing him so I went with it. But I don't need to play Deadpool. I would enjoy the game more if I get to play a villain though. My daughter is a huge fan of Scarlet Witch and Emma from MAA, so either one of those might work. Though I am not generally that guy who like to play girl characters... So hopefully Juggernaut or Magneto become options at some point. Now there are some real villains.

Also from the video I saw online, you can customize your character, so you can have multiples of the same guy and still look different. Question, do characters have your own chosen handle or are they just running around as their comic name?

I'd think it would be the handle, just because it would be really confusing otherwise. Particularly on a TEAM OF DEADPOOLS!

On a the note of a party of Deadpools, worse ways to go. I love how insane you can get his Regen going plus he's got a nifty power called God Mode that is exactly what it sounds like. He's a nice change when I've been having to be cautious / strategic with Punisher, as Deadpool is literally point, click, win.

Trust me, you don't want a link. A link would take you to Gazillion (the developer), and you absolutely do not want to download the game from them. As others have said, go through Steam. If you're looking for a game description, it's Diablo with Marvel skins. I'm not trying to bash the game or diminish the fun that can be had with it, but that's straight up what it is.

More like a NDE (new developer experience). I got in at the beta, and it was something of a train wreck. An endless sequence of boot-up patches made the game not only unplayable, but unloadable. Chapter transitions caused my display to crash, and the ability to render my computer inoperable in a way that requires a cold reboot is something that I'm always looking for in a game.

Once it went live, I killed the whole thing and reinstalled through Steam and the entire play experience was transformed. Valve clearly has the architecture to provide the basic gameplay stability that Gazillion lacks. It's a fun little title, and I enjoyed it when I was able to play it. I don't have anyone maxed and haven't reached any endgame content (I've got a Hawkeye somewhere in the upper teens and an unlocked but unplayed Thing).

Given the choice between Marvel Heroes and Torchlight II as enjoyable Diablo clones, I'd tend to pick Torchlight II. But Torchlight II costs money, and Marvel Heroes is free, so that's certainly a significant factor for new players.

Yeah. I was in at Beta and after days of patch nightmare, played the game for five minutes before uninstalling.

The fact it's a fairly smooth experience now is one that gives me a bit of hope for it. Honestly, I'm not going to say it's the greatest game out there but as a free way for the Made Members to group and play somewhere it seemed like a good start.

Still not sure what hero to pick from the starting group. Gotta admit, I have a fondness for Wanda just from playing X-Men Legends 2 where she was playable.

Note to self: Get old Xbox connections hooked up so I can play that game again. Can't believe they never ported it.
