I am not defending the pictures; I am just saying you should not put too much importance on it.

In the future when you want to comment on the style of the artist used for the portraits, I suggest you don't say "the pilot is ugly". This tends to get across as being based on the looks of the person depicted, not the style.

The style that was used to create these images looks to me like digital artwork (created in programs like Photoshop) not a watercolor painting.

and yes I do have a life, and I don't depend on typing words that I know will be blanked out or complete lines of capitals to get my message across.
