Apparently the House Liao Hiritsu Lance's roster of Mechwarriors matches the listing on Felix Jarta's dossier from Liao Incursion. Hyu-Youn Cho is listed on it, and if you read the text for her pilot card it mentions Jas Keck, also originally listed on the Jarta's dossier, so we can surmise that the last pilot will be Ty Sung, we just don't know which 'mech he pilots yet :cheeky: .

Likely going to be a Vulture Mk iV in the lance, as we've seen one painted in Liao colors in the promotional material. As to the last mech in the lance, it could be almost anything... from a Gambit to a Marauder IIC.

Since wizkids tends to order the mech to weigth classes, I expect a heavy or an assault mech.
Since there are 3 vultures, maybe there are also 3 Marauders ? Anyway I like this shen-yi a lot.

Wow another #### mech for Liao. So what if it can live long, it stats drop down too quickly. Not to mention the piot is ugly and too expensive for what she does. Oh and Wizkids, GIVE US THE FULL LIST ALREADY!

This is a very cheap mech for what it does and it's ability can (in a large enough army) repair it from its last click to its most efficient point. (eg 4 dmg Artemis, 11 tgt, 21 (or 22) defense)

That you don't like what the girl looks like isn't all that important to how the unit functions. Her base price is exactly the same as other +0 +2 +1 pilots and you don't have to recruit her so she is in fact cheaper than the gunslingers. and her abilities are reasonably priced (+1 defense with no tokens alone making her worth quite a lot more)

and the full list won't be available until the set is released (in only a few weeks) and it is much more fun to be exited every Monday, Wednesday and Friday as opposed to having a 20 minute rush of excitement picking through a complete list and then waiting for 3 months until the product hits the shelves.

I think you misread the ability Murdoc. It only repairs past a Black repair marker if that repair marker is already showing. As to where you are getting the 11 Targeting figure, it is anbodies guess. Still, for 190 this mech is decent.

Let me explain more clearly since you didn't read my post thoroughly.

I stated that it only applied in a sufficiently large army, indicating you'd have the entire lance (=4 mechs) complete
suppose you are on you final click, first turn: lancemate 1 dies you repair 5 clicks (to the rep.marker just before the artemis quits). Second turn: lancemate 2 dies you repair 3 clicks. Third turn: lancemate 3 dies and you repair another 4 clicks.

at that point you have 9 tgt, but since you would have to have Hyu-Youn Cho in there to use the ability, she will add her +2 tgt bonus to that. making it 11.

thats alot of iffs and what if she gets shot 1st instead of one of her lancemates, somehow i think the idea is ok but quite expensive , it doesnt add much for games without the lance mates making perhaps alternate pilots more effective in these mechs.

Until any smart player kills those mechs first! Oh look at that it has dev! Dead. Oh and no order token and you get +1 to defense is stupid, that means you won't be using to its max potential for that +1 def. Fine with me, when you sitting ill blast you away from 18 inches with the vet Nova Cat and FP while you waiting in the back for your precious +1 defense when you could of attacked me. Oh and the only real tournment your plan would work is in the 1200 4 mech storyline. But then again you can spend 400 points in a 450 battle just for devotion. 2 average mechs with only 50 points of support won't last. Even in 600 points. Your putting sub-par mechs in. Sorry Liao players you still have no useful pieces still. Maybe you shouldn't be the most hated faction.

Oh and when I ment your plan, I ment no many how much of the lance you had, it's still a waste of points. Its like the twins ablity, you need more then one mech to use it, except theirs is useful becuase its not situational and for both mechs its only around 40 points more then just ONE of the lance mechs. Now tell me is it still is good.

1. The ugly thing is true with all the pilots recently, not only do they look ugly but the way is done is ugly which is what I truly ment they need the old artist back.

2. When I say full list I ment like what they did with dom. reallys the full unit LIST not unit STAT LIST. I want to know what the new SECs, PCs, FPs, etc are. Not their stats and what they do, but who gets what.

Yeah I really liked that list release for Dom. Of course because it was the first "Recyclo set" it did have alot of negative impact. I think WK was just running a test and didn't like all the hate they got for their unoriginality. I honestly don't mind reusing sculpts but they need to space re-releases out a bit more. They have plenty of vehicle sculpts that were pretty decent that could be reused. Meh anyway sorry didn't mean to go so off topic.

Definitely a better mech than the unique version. The Artemis V SE gives the mech a good punch middle of the dial when ballistic damage starts to drop off.
I guess the trade off with the 2nd generation Shen Yi's are the longer ballistic ranges, armor, and increase speed vs the higher damage output and slower speed of the 1st gen.

Yeah, the art has really gone downhill with this latest set. Can you call a single pilot portrait in this set decent looking?

What's worse is that this is a Liao heavy set, so all the Liao pilots (especially the girls!!!) looking just fugly.
