My biggest problems with a system like that other than what edge said is getting the final standings information, cause the online web coverage only shows the standings of people who haven't dropped out and if i used ude's tournament search it only gives the ude numbers and that way too much copying and pasting for me. It could be changed to give points to all money winners at 10k's instead of top 8 this year, but that's still just a matter of me being able to spend more time on this.

HMMM, just my 2 cents but maybe we can get Scott or Jeff to appoint one of those random lackeys to do this as a job. I know someone at UDE that would be great at this sort of thing.

If I could get them to pay me to do it I'd certainly get in there. Unfortunately this is probably not important enough to pay someone to do.

I love this system, I'm a scrub and I somehow am the 20th best player of the year! The only thing I'm good at is having my opponents miss thier drops in day 2 of the PC :)

hey i think its awesome that this guy even feels like doing something like this. instead of critisizing it you should try and make one your self. i would like to thank you for taking the time out to do this. i wish ude did something like this, magic has a player of the year finish and now they just restructured so that you get paid to go to tourneys depending on your pro player level.

I do think there needs to be a Player of the Year system, but I also think that the Mindripper system is terrible. Perhaps just adding up Pro Circuit points earned over the course of the year is the simpliest and best way to go.
