Or it's a false choice, and we find out afterwards while bleeding to death that we didn't need to lose the arm, when there was in fact a third choice to fix the problem without amputation.
There's someone at GAMA right now
talking to UDE reps there about the status with DC at the moment
i'll say more when I get more information
(that is if UDE has any information...about anything at all)

I would not count on it unless it is screw you all our loyal customers, your stupid and we dont want you buying our product.
I agree sending a real letter via the USPS is the way to go. Including Rallying Cry (great idea!) and maybe a copy of a favorite card of yours (or his??) would be good too.
More info on Paul Levitz:
"I’m particularly proud of having written the first standard written contract for talent in our field in 1977—embodying basic concepts like return of original art, reprint fees, and laying out simple policies like the period of time in which the company was obliged to accept delivery"
Actually per Carmine Infantino's biography which I picked up at a Boston show recently, HE started the return of original art to the artist. Levitz was one of 5 people that had to replace Infantino when he left DC because he wore so many "hats" as Editorial Director/Art Director.
you know
I think this may be getting a little blown out of proportion
Humph never said that a DC set was never going to be made again
all he said was "We have been in ongoing discussions with DC Comics to expand our licensing category"
Now I don't usually show very much confidence in UDE, but I do think that they will eventually work a deal out that will allow them to continue making DC sets
So don't despair, I know I don't want another Marvel set after MUN either(DC sets have always been my favorite)
but if that's what it takes then i'm willing to wait
DC will be back, you'll see

Okay, but the thing is, you don't KNOW that. If you write to DC, let them know how passionate you are about DC in VS, include the card - that sends a message that could help them make a more favorable decision for us. If you just sit around, you might get what you want without any work, but you also risk losing everything without having made a move in the first place.

He's right, it could do no harm; and suppose DC and UDE will come to an agreement, at least DC will know they have made a right choice.
