Hmm, perhaps a let's fix Leap/Climb thread is in order. Personally if it allowed an attack after changing elevations, it would be an alternative for a lot of characters.
Another close to defnitive dial
Prob and Outwit should probably be flipped, I think. PC when his radar senses are at full strength; Outwit when he figures out a way to beat his opponent. Also needs Precision Strike, IMO.

That's a good one. I haven't played this one yet. But you put this dial on my radar (pun intended).
I've been leaning toward this one as a definitive version.
This guy may not look like much now, and in his day he didn't get much credit, but he was a menace if played properly. In Hindering terrain, he could shoot you, but you couldn't shoot him. Back when Hindering forced you to stop moving, and there was no Improved Movement+Charge, you could bury him in Hindering, and he couldn't be touched. If he was somehow in danger, and you weren't confident about his 18 Super Senses, then you could just leap and bound away. Sculpt is one of my favorites for any piece.
That Daredevil from Empyre is fantastic, and simple to boot. I'd call him 'my' definitive Daredevil.
Here are a few that I view as 'definitive' versions of a character, taking the 'X-Men 97' cast. Of course realizing that changing of the powers/mechanics and power creep mean they're no longer the best versions to use.
But in terms of 'I'd never buy another one if this game stayed exactly the same because this nails them just as they are, and doesn't add any gimmicks they don't need or overpower them beyond what they can do'.
Like I said, none of them compare to newer versions due to costs/stats, but if for example Cyclops was made now and had +1 to attack and defense across the board and was re-costed to 65, he'd be the only Cyke I ever wanted to play.

I couldn't agree more. If only power creep was not a thing.

Your cloice was my favorite and almost definitive Daredevil for years. I just felt that he was missing a few keywords to be perfect.
I feel this one is the perfect keyworded Daredevil. Has all the necessary keywords listed.
This is by far to me the strongest and possible very close to definitive. I enjoy using him with his billy clubs. But like the DP202 is missing some keywords.
Then Elektra here is the definitive version of her, and the only one of her is her Daredevil outfit. Using her and the SMBA044 together is a great Hell's Kitchen duo.
All four of these versions of Daredevil have been my favorites since they came out.
I know we started this thread by talking about Hulk from Avengers Forever, and he is awesome, but to me this Hulk defines the character best, because RAGE should absolutely factor into how strong and mean he is. And that 11th click is the perfect depiction of what you get if you really keep making him angry.
Similarly, I've never seen a Thor that captures how he fights as well as this guy:
I've always been one for 'my' definitive version. This is pretty much in anything.
As a kid, I'd only really want regular TMNT figures, wasn't bothered by dressed as a chef Leonardo etc etc.... same with comics.
Therefore, one pre-requisite is the look of the character. There are some that I don't mind, or perhaps a certain source or story, like Old Man Logan.
The next pre-requisite: powers. If there's a Rogue figure and she hasn't got her mutant power represented.... is it really Rogue at all? Mystique without Shape Change or looking like someone else kinda power....
That said, I have loads of Batman but only the ones that I think bring something to the table.
Lastly, my collection size. By having the above, it helps me limit my collection. "What's that Skippy? There's a more definitive version of Robin out? Time to trade up!"
