Brainiacs I'll show you Impervious special power specifically states that it cannot be countered or Ignored. I think Outback Hulks special power states that it can ignore defensive powers. So, Brainiacs power trumps Outback Hulks power, in that you cannot ignore a power that states it cannot be ignored.

Belay that last comment. Hulls power says its target cannot use their defensive power, I thought it says he ignores defensive powers. My bad, scheme away.

It never mentions "when first shown" or anything similar and triggers each time. It is, without question, one of the best defense powers. Blob, Chase Thanos, Hollywood and so on can be picked at by low damage harassment. Brainiac here not so much. Giving him any form of healing is just mean. Too bad Superman himself isnt as hard to hurt as his old enemy here though.

i got my butt kicked by this guy this pasted Wednesday with the gauntlet on him. He took out v icon supes two jean Grey from the old set danger room and ig jean grey and 3 pogs and jjj and destiny. But a great fig supes hit him for 8 with the tank turret and he takes 1 damage and then his turn and he hits for 5 killing supes in about 2 turns

I've pulled three of this guy, I wanted to use him during a draft but I just couldn't justify it.
He is; however, very cool. I enjoy the feeling that I'd need a whole team to take him down. That's my kinda villain.

Pulled an extra of this guy is a booster draft were we played like the Gencon BR (pull, use what you pulled, 3 actions) This guy at the full point value just make you want to clear the map before the game even start and quit. I had one guy say at the end of the match that he wish he didn't hit him to click 2. This guy is just a big ol bully. He can be beat but take a good chunck of chipping before he decided to rip your head off.

This guy is easy to beat with CW #101 Mr. Fantastic. I played against him in a 400 point game he was at full points with New52 Enchantress. I used Mr. Fantastic, Ghost Rider, IH SR Spider-man and Bombastic Bagman. Killed Enchantress first then sent in spider-man to tie up Brainiac. Future Foundation forced him to push or take 1 unavoidable damage every turn. After his damage power was gone I sent in bagman. All the while Ghost Rider was shooting him from range. Easiest Game Of My Life!

Honestly Bagman didn't do much. I could have beaten him without him or any cheese. The Future Foundation + Mystics is what did it.

Mystic damage and the Future Foundation TA excel at wounding high point characters and bringing them low. Honestly not a surprise or a great victory. Just an extra bad matchup for any 200+ figure. Even the mighty Sentroid would have had to play extra safe. But congrats on feeling "like a boss"? But this does bring up a point for the Big B here. Mystic damage is possibly one of his greatest weak points.

I never said it was a great victory or that I felt "like a boss". I just hold to the belief that there is no dominant figure in the game. I just like to show the weaknesses of the figs people hold in high regard or are afraid of. Never fear, there is always a way to win.

Played a 400 pt game against this guy. It was him and a full Gauntlet. My disdain grows ever more for the Gauntlet (I really like the idea, but it could easily be worth twice it's point cost). But I wrote this figure off out of hand, and that was a mistake too. You have to hit his grossly high defense with at least three damage or penetrating damage THREE TIMES at least. Combined with his own great attack and double power action, my opponent would just keep using the Soul Gem to heal, all the while spinning the dial. It wasn't even fair. You can't even Pulse Wave through it. Just a disgusting and abusive team.
