I'm going to augment the hard evidence with interactive reads. One immediate observation I have of this culture: hyper-focus on night actions and limited focus on behavior. That's not a criticism, just what I see in this first game I've played.
My best work tends to come in behavioral analysis and that's what I'll do now. I might find something interesting in one of the non-suspects.
I am leaning ImmortalRaven. I have been getting a town vibe from Slooni. I was going to double him last night, but the way you lead the lynch yesterday on Roy made me more comfortable with doubling you.
[quote=Immortal_Raven;8779497]It could also have been explained via a scum MD. If scum MDed him N1 and saw some info displayed to the public, why not MD a suspected info gatherer N2? Especially knowing Silver would get protections. So now both of your cases are identical. Both can be explained by MD.[quote]Why was your instinctual reaction to Roy's discrepancy, "maybe he was misidrected", while your response to my discrepancy was, "Sloonei is lying, let's lynch him"? Also, for the record, I'd mostly forgotten about the night action thing with regards to Roy. I was voting for him purely by the tone and content of his posts. And that is, again, the reason I'm voting for you today. Behavior tells can be just as strong, if not stronger, than night action results.

Then throw in my failure N1, adam's actions both targeting myself and Darkstone, and your alleged targeting of me N1 which was publicly known before adam's claim. You look bad by comparison. It was as if we got a full claim from you and adam busted it. It was a stronger case to me.
JJJ's info makes it look bad as does Roy's autopsy.
That answers my question above. I'd still like you to explain why were you unconvinced by the Roy case, independent of the case against me.

Drag is fairly common atm. It used to be more rare, but I'd say at least 80% of games have it now.
Thanks. Would it not be a point in my favor that no one has countered my claim yet?
But also I was more interested in the body of that post where I questioned the questionability of my roleclaim.
That's a question I want you to answer. I'm not getting lynched by any sane person this phase, so the onus is on you to present an alternative reality and also to show why that reality is true.
There are possibilities, and I haven't already decided with finality that both you and adamical must be lynched in succession. I am open to hearing you out. Gimme the goods.
Ok, a couple alternate realities.
1. Based on JoH's scenario where adam and/or I are buddies with Roy, adam is scum. He tries the gambit knowing that he has a provable power claim to two different people (myself and Darkstone) and that some folks are unsure on Sloonei. Regardless of lynch, any townie following that train does look worse than adam. There's the issue of remaining scummers which is anyone's guess with a potential Don cloak. I think that probability is high due to your dwindling number of suspects and me knowing my own alignment. I'll take a post-mortem town win if lynching me gets the town a roadmap. It won't, but that's the type of player I am.
2. Separate MDs on Sloonei N1 and adam's town JK action. All of us get caught up in false info. Unlikely if you are who you say you are.
3. Sloonei is the Don (a crap role for a first-timer to this board, mafia pro or not) and your info is false.
4. adam and JoH are scum buddies together and they devise this play. JoH hems and haws but ultimately sells Roy out. Adam presents a counter-play for future days and if anyone falls for it in the moment, so much the better.
THose are 4 off the top of my head which admittedly is splitting right now, damn cold and flu season.

Addressing the bolded. Stronger night action read. adam's power can be corroborated by two separate people, one of which is me. Roy's issues could both have been explained by a single mafia MDer, not multiple people.
In short, multiple source versus single source. Above all, I trust any results I get.

This still seems like an explanation that is dependent on its relationship to me. You have previously admitted to being unconvinced by the Roy case long before adam presented his argument against me. Let's go back to that point in time. Why were you not on the Roy bandwagon from the beginning?
Not a problem! The answer you gave is probably more helpful. If godfathers are as rare as you say they are, then I can be more confident in Jay's town IDs.

I wasn't convinced and still doing other things at the time. Then Silver removed his vote and that threw me. It was Silver's info. If he was unconvinced, it gave me pause. I still felt that lynching a neutral was a better play than no lynch though.
Sometimes, it comes down to gut.
And on a separate note. I'm going home sick from work. I have plenty of time to address any accusations in the future of this phase, so lay them out for me. And take a hard look at last phase. Please. I'm not scum.

"I wasn't convinced" is not an answer that does anything for me, unfortunately. But I know my line of questioning is unconventional here so I won't jump on you for it. I would, however, like to ask that you dig a little deeper. What specifically about the case had you feeling unconvinced? Was it something Roy did or said? Was it the evidence against him or evidence in his favor? What was it?
also feel better! i've been sick all weekend myself, it's a total drag.
