I knew Nifty was the Vig. You kept hinting at it and distinctly pointing to Roy as a strong town player. I went along because outing the Vig is a dumb play.
Nifty, think about it. Ice weaseled out of things when we were going to lynch him and it ended up Ignatz. His clues have been weak all game. He has more of a duplicate power set to kontrol's getting dirt on people.
This is on you Nifty. We'll make our cases. He had an uphill battlewhen grizzz went down and brainiac. Both were easy to weed out as was ERS. So he left you alive and planted that night 1 "clue" that he wouldn't come forward with.
And consider he voted with his first post today. Clear sucker play. He also voted for me straight off yesterday when we didn't know how many scum/neutral were left. His accusation that I wanted to end days early, gfish was my only hammer vote. He's been triggerhappy the last two phases and trusted you to not hit him as the Vig because he was "protecting" your secret. Credit to you, you took my advice and didn't target anyone. Also consider why Ignatz was still harping on Ice. gfish even harped on Ice and I was foolish enough to fall for his lie.
The clues are weak at best and yet two of his clue copped targets have autopsied as their claim.
vote Ice. There's no other way to do this. It's on you Nifty. Think carefully.
Nifty is town. You're not. I already stated my power.
One parting piece of advice. We only switched from lynching ice because ERS was a better lynch. Not because he wasn't scummy.
Like I said, I can't prove my power, but Iceman has a sketchy one. I am done talking Nifty. This is on you. Make the right choice and vote Ice. Trust the dead townies. Look at the clues ice got. Notice how he forced gfish's claim before revealing the clue. He didn't have one since he made the kill. He's not Rachel McAdams, he's mark ruffalo. Same movie claim, harder to disprove.
All I know is your power hasn't been successful and you've done nearly nothing in the game.
I agree though. This is simply CaptainNifty's choice at this point.
I've been up front all game.
I've been sharing publicly all game.
The only reason I wasn't on the Brainiac lynch is because I was getting on a flight and I stated that I'd like the day open longer to see if ANYONE had anything outside of me.
I was on ERS BOTH times, and stated Grizz as likely scum the day before he was killed.
I hope I've done enough to prove I'm town.
Immortal never once proved his power. That's telling.
Come on Nifty. Put me out of my misery. Iceman deserves the win. You won't win with him, but he does deserve it over me. I was inattentive for a crucial stretch and have a power more befitting a neutral than a townie, but I am a townie.
I thought I'd wake up and find that I was voted off.
Actually, now that I think about it, Iceman can't win. At all. And it's because Nifty is the Vig. Vote me off and it's 1v1 tonight. You guys kill each other and unless there's something magic about Ice's kill or mafia, he's dead too. He's trying to force a stalemate.
Important thing here Nifty is to vote, regardless. If you don't vote, you're dead tonight and you still have a 50/50 chance of being wrong with who you kill. Voting today guarantees a mafia non-win. I say vote for Ice. He's scum. He knows he's screwed which is why he didn't point out what I just did. Major epiphany for me. I'm not usually this smart.
I can't fault you Nifty. You made the wrong choice, but I'd have done the same in your shoes. Ice played us all. I'm just happy you are the Vig so there's a good chance he still loses. He's Mark Ruffalo, called it yesterday, calling it today.
Day 7: If You Think About It, He Really Had an Unfair Advantage
I_R: Iceman, Nifty Iceman: I_R
Majority was 2… a majority was reached!
The arena was quiet now. All eyes in the wings were fixed on center stage, as two attendees argued vehemently. The pretty girl with mismatched earrings pointed at the dorky man in glasses, claiming he was responsible for the chaos. He pointed back at her just as forcefully. As their words flew back and forth, a motley crew watched intently. The tension in the room grew to an almost unbearable level, the anxiety palpable. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, eager to find answers. Clearly the collection of characters would have to decide who was being truthful and who was trying to deceive.
Finally, slowly, a group of five beautiful women ascended the steps. The two onstage stopped their arguing and waited to see who was more persuasive. The five women looked at both, then walked next to the pretty girl and nodded. The dorky man hung his head, accepting his fate as he was led out of the auditorium.
Immortal_Raven has been lynched! He was Adam McKay (Town), nominated for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for The Big Short.
The girl smiled. “Sorry… wrong choice,” she said sweetly, as a squad of police arrived to take the motley crew away.
CaptainNifty has left the game! He was Mad Max: Fury Road (Town), nominated for Best Picture, Costume Design, Visual Effects, Makeup and Hairstyling, Cinematography, Film Editing, Sound Mixing, Production Design, and Sound Editing.
She stood on stage, alone. Reaching down, she grabbed a statue and held it aloft. “Finally, this is mine! It was all worth it!” Thunderous applause rained down, and the girl beamed.
Iceman425 has won the game! He was Saoirse Ronan (Mafia), nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role as Eilis Lacey in Brooklyn.
As the curtain fell, she glanced down. “Hmm, there’s three more down here… I guess I can spare one for my friends, too.”
EnsRedShirt, grizzzadams, and brainiacFTW have won the game!
Back in the control center, two producers looked at each other and shrugged. “Well, I guess that’s a wrap.”
The game is now over! Thanks for playing, everyone!
Damnit! I told cbob that I was sure Ice was scum and that I hoped to survive the night to say so. It just didn't make sense the way he acted when ERS was under the gun.
Extremely well played, Scott. Had you not taken me out I was gunning for you.
Did you forget that I jailkept I_R? The whole reason I was willing to fall on my sword was to prove that he could not have been the killer because I jailkept him.
Either way, congrats Iceman. I will no longer feel bad with nightkilling you in the future.
