General Mafia rules, stolen from other mods (specifically Quebbster):

This game will be more complicated than what's described there, as nearly everyone has some sort of 'special thing' about them. Doesn't mean everyone has a night power, but you never know...

2) When you vote, please do so by saying Vote: [Player] in bold. If you wish to change your vote, please say Change Vote: [Player] instead. If you wish to leave your vote with another player, say leave vote with [player]. You cannot leave your vote with someone who already controls another player's vote.

3) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating.

4) Do NOT edit your posts in this thread. This is cheating.

5) Please do not copy-and-paste anything from any PM I send you to the thread. This is also cheating.

6) Please do not post in this thread after you are killed. While not cheating, this is rather tacky and leads to a cranky moderator.

7) It is in your best interest to try and post when you are able to do so.

8) Phases are 24 hours long during the week and 36 hours during the weekend unless stated otherwise. That doesn't mean you have to use all that time though... the sooner I get night actions the sooner the game can reopen.

9) If you do not send in a night action I will not be happy. Odds are good you will not be taking an action, though I may randomize your target if it suits my purposes better. Miss two night actions in a row and I may start looking for a replacement.

10) If two or more night actions conflict, the action submitted first gets priority.

11) Remember that this is just a game. Have fun and behave.

Under the brilliant blue Hollywood sky, the buzz is palpable. Reporters with microphones rush to capture exclusive interviews of stars smiling and saying some variation of "I'm so excited!" The rest of America watches, enraptured by this coverage which makes the Super Bowl pregame show seem like an exercise in restraint.

Finally, all the stars and handlers and family and guests have made the trek, the doors of the Dolby Theater have closed, and the 88th Academy Awards have officially begun!

colonialbob has left the game! He was the red carpet, humble ground covering turned iconic token of celebrity.

Well, I am absolutely the best movie, so this should be a shoe in.

While I would like Leo to finally get one (and think that's it's inevitable given the weak-ish best actor field), it's a shame he couldn't have gotten it for one of his stronger roles.

I would agree, though I'd hardly call this performance weak. Just may be not asthetically my favorite.

Anyhow, thoughts on a mafia theme?

Could be any number of things. All the nominees in a certain category, certain categories, a common movie with several categories.

15 players, I'm gonna guess that Town will likely consist of a combo of two acting categories, and Mafia and Neutral filling in from the others. Or possibly the Directors - if The Revenant has taught us anything its that Directors love to torture their actors.

Regardless, this smal of a likely bucket almost surely a Mafia fakeclaim provided.

Of course, Mafia could also consist of Will, Jada, and Spike.

Actually, strong Mafia theme could also be the 4 winners from last year.
