Jawa steps into the courtyard and heads toward the multi-leveled building, searching for a door, or perhaps some inhabitant. He finds both. On the ground floor of the building there is a door with bars over it's window. Upon trying the handle, Jawa finds it locked, and not the "break down the door" sort of locked, but the "you need a key" sort of locked. Peeking through the window, Jawa sees what seems to be cookies of an unusual size. The size of these cookies is in fact the least unusual thing about them, as they all also have arms, legs, and enormous mouths and eyes. Furthermore, most of them are chained to treadmills, being forced to run at the urging of an unchained cookie with a whip. All the cookies on the treadmills are also carrying stuffed, giant cookie-shaped dummies. Strange. (All these cookies would come roughly to Jawa's waist were he standing next to them.)
Wade runs after Jawa, but upon seeing him stop at the door, he instead decides to break down the large double doors. He charges up the steps (did I mention there were steps?) and throws his shoulder into wood. The doors splinter and break under his might. Wade finds himself in what appears to be the throne room, and before him on the throne is what is clearly the cookie king. He is somewhat taller than the other cookies, being as tall as Wade's neck, and he seems to be made of an upside-down gingerbread man, with eye's where the man's nipples would be. A crown is hung upon one of the man's (the man's, not the king's) legs. The Cookie King seems less than pleased that Waded just broke down his door.
The king waves his scepter at Wade as he shouts, "Who are you, and why have you broken the door to my splendid palace?"
Meanwhile, Sky snatches up the sombrero and puts it on, and then continues running after the shovel, despite it no longer being in sight. As he runs, something comes into focus in the distance. It's a rather majestic looking mountain.
As in there's no chance of me Falcon Punching my way through or anything like that?
Assume this is a video game type door, where despite the vast amount of weapons, magic, and demolitions you possess, the door will only yield to a key.
I will begin searching around the building for either a key or an alternative entrance - either a door that isn't locked or some place that looks weak enough I could punch my way through. (Brains)
Nope, I am here. Sorry about the delay - busy weekend.
I am going to talk to the Cookie King (before Wade eats him) and try and get some info about our surroundings. (brains)
I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.

It's gonna be a long run from the pipe to the palace, and yet I look forward to writing it. In a bit.
Smudge looks up from where he was staring off into space and realizes that he is all alone at the pipe. He glances about, and spies the holes that Jawa stomped in the ground as he traveled. Following them, he eventually comes to the palace, and seeing the broken down doors, goes to investigate. Inside he finds Wade being shouted at by the Cookie King. As the King said before...
"Who are you, and why have you broken the door to my splendid palace?"
Smudge shouts back.
"Who are you, and what is this splendid palace?"
The King shouts back, louder this time.
"I am King Ginger! And this is the capital of the Cookie Kingdom!"
Smudge, not to be outdone, shouts until his voice cracks.
"Why is everything white?!!!"
The King is about to reply, when Wade jumps at him. Wade manages to dig his teeth into the king's shoulder, but it seems Wade's eyes are much bigger than his stomach. Strange, because with eyes that big, you would think Wade would have noticed the armed guards. Wade is struck in the head with a spear shaft as cookie guards rush to the King's rescue. Much stronger than their size, shape, and constitution imply, the cookies beat Wade into submission. The King struggles to regain his feet as he shouts "Seize him and put him behind bars! And take the other one too."
Smudge, seeing the punishment that the cookies had just dished out, wisely allows himself to be lead away by spear point.
At the jail, Jawa is searching for another way in. He closely examines the walls, feeling their surfaces for weakness. He finds none. Furthermore, he is so enthralled by his examinations, he entirely fails to notice as the cookie guards approach with the captive Wade and Smudge, unlock and open the barred door, chain them to treadmills, and then lock the door again. It's amazing how he could miss something so critical. (get it?)
Sky runs up to the mountain and tries to see if there is anything to be found. There isn't. In fact, the mountain isn't even a mountain at all. It's a large wooden backdrop, painted to look like a mountain. Sky can't find anything special about it, nor why it is sitting by itself in the literal middle of no where.
