Nice to hear CoC is still going strong, hopefuly there will be a CC next time we head out there.
Would I be right in guessing the QuickFate was Jimmy? :D

Top 4 was Kree/VU vs Quickfate (winner Kree/VU) and Avengers vs Future Foes (winner Avengers). Kree/VU ended up finally winning in the end. I ended up going 2-2, with both my loses being because I missed my 3 drop (with no underdrop even, grr). Oh well, there's always next time!
Nice that this was announced somewhere. I called CoC on Friday (as well as the Clermont store) and was told that nothing was going on in the area. If your store would have gotten its act together, you would have had another 10+ players.
Did you call the Kissimmee Coliseum or one of the other locations? As far as I know, the Kissimmee one is the only one that runs Hobby League unfortunatly (always on Sundays/Wednesdays by the way). Bad thing about the CC, through, was that the kit did not come in by Sunday (or at least the guy behind the counter said it didn't), so the EA's/playmat are all IOU. We did give out normal Hobby League EA's (some older ones) to help compensate for that, through.

Nope, he played Kree/VU and won. Coy ran Quickfate, can't remember if you all met him last time or not. By the way, when do you all think you all will be back down this way? Any vacations coming up, hmm?

Likely dates is either Summer or Christmas, with everyone doing doffrent things this year it's hard for us all tog et out there together, I know I will be out from July 28th for 2 weeks with 3 of my mates so you can have all new people to stomp into the ground :D
That's the distinct impression I got last night at Hobby League, especially when I could not beat Hellfire/Checkmate with either AGL or QuickFate... six games straight.
1) Many of these events were local, in areas that have a lot of players, but never got higher level events.
2) What was the cost to enter these?
3) Spidey and his villains draw WAY more fans than Legion ever will. Good characters were actually good Cards this time around.
4) Everyone has been told that this is all they will get, so they showed for the only event they will likely see for months.
Lets not blow any purple smoke anywhere indecent just yet. This is a nice first round of reports. But in reality, it isn't really saying anything about the future of the game just yet.

The game is very much alive.
How about top 8 at the CC. SS rush, HoG variant, Kiman deck, VU/Kree, 3 kings and Avengers res. Not one quick fate!
