I believe Gamora was created in order to give Bag-Man more shelf life. His yellow increases target countdown tiles by 4!!! For the low low price of 7 Yellow AP!!!!

I'm in the same thinking - Gamora will be 5/3/5 for me once she's rostered. Ultron I'm thinking 3/5/5. His Black power creates the same number of tiles, it's just a question of their starting strength. I would lean on Kitty/Nico or whatever as a means of buffing tiles, so their starting place is less significant

I opened 36 packs (35LTs + 25 CP) and got 4 Ultron until I pulled the Gamora. I REALLY wanted to get Shang-chi one more cover but it was not in the cards.

Recovered 2 LTs and am sitting pretty with 2020 CP so not bad at all. At some point I would like to be in a place where I can use 300 pulls to get everyone champed. I used it up when Scarlet Witch, Colossus, and Knull were together and have not been able to catch up since.

Tonight Ares finally joined my 2* Champ Farm, the last to do so... and then I promptly sold off Storm, my first two-time max Champ.

Yesterday saw my first 5* character (Spider-Verse Kingpin, from the milestone quest) and my first 3* hit Level 200 (Iron Fist, though Strange and Luke Cage are close behind).

I'm sitting on over 14K HP, but still being relatively conservative about things that could yield new characters. My most profligate behavior has been a couple bursts of opening Heroics, and tonight blowing 111 Sweet tokens to try for that Polaris cover. (No luck there.)

You don't have to click on milestone rewards. They do not go away, ever. If you want, you can wait until you are good and ready to cash them in.

Having 14k in HP is a huge windfall you can roster ten 4*s and still have 4k left over.

That's awesome! Once you are ready to finish those 4*s and start to really get those 5*s you are going to have a lot of fun using up that CP and LLs.

I'm very excited.

Wasp and Doc Ock are my only 2 "classic" toons that are not champed. I've mined all the Doc Ock shards I can from my Carnage (until he starts getting farmed), so I've been looking at a long road for him to get champed (there are enough shards left in Ant-Man to finish off Wasp, so he's my current 4* favorite).

And I just noticed that the placement rewards for Lost in Time (which I happen to be doing well in) include Doc Ock rewards. Which means in the next PVE, there will be 250 shards of Doc Ock to be gotten. I've got 375 shards to go, so I should only have about 25 shards to go once the next PVE is done (I think top 20 is a reasonable hope, but if I'm wrong it's only a 25 shard difference).

As for doing well in LiT ... that I owe to the discord channel. If you aren't in it, I recommend joining the Puzzle Warriors Three discord server. There is a channel in there that has a Bot checking the bracket document and sending messages alerting brackets when they flip. So I am currently subscribed to all the x.10 brackets, so I get a message on my phone shortly after the bracket document reports a flip. This has been HUGE in letting me pick my bracket and find a good flip.

Definitely thought of you this morning when I actually checked the prizes.

I am not ready to join the discord server, there are too many times I am not free to have a constant message pop up on my phone. I used to have it for pokemon go where one would know if a 100% pokemon or ultra rare spawning occurred. Then the pokemon people caught on to it and blocked all that stuff. Rightfully so on their part.

BTW I will never get tired of Balancing Act. It feels so nice to plow through enemies. The challenge node can still be difficult.

I landed in top 20. In fact, I was #20. Finished my clears as ď7 with 6 minutes left. I knew I wouldn't be top ten. Watched nervously as I fell from 19 to 20 with 20 seconds to go.

This reminds me of getting so excited because I was finally able to acquire Vet Iron MAn and Captain America from the Armor Wars set. Took too long to track those two down. I am pretty sure I never played them.

THat set was the worst collation I had ever seen. Back then the "randomizing" was awful - if you bought a case, you got the same thing almost every time (I think a few of the uniques were different in each case, but the REV stuff was identical).

Back on PQ, I am loving the discord subscription. 1.10 for The Hunt flipped last evening and I was able to play, so now, after sub 1 is complete, I am sitting pretty comfortably in top 10. And that's with accidentally playing a node 4 times during my initial clears (instead of 3, which is what 1.10 requires)

What teams do you play to get through PVE?

Easy Nodes - I use Juggie/G4ocket/Star-Lord. Juggie tanks on Red, Green, Blue, Black, and TeamUp. Most of the time, 1 match wipes out the opposing team. Keep an eye out for anyone with 4500+ health and swap them to the front (if there is more than one, then it might take 2 matches, so I look for a cascade to follow the Juggie match). Also mindful for Nightcrawler, he has to be the target or he'll bamf away.

Hard Nodes - My go-to is Kitty/G4ocket/Polaris. Match my own strike tiles where I can. Use Polaris or opposing Daken/Bullseye to create tiles for the opposing team that Kitty will blow up. Supports help me here - I've got the Milano on G4ocket which gives me a 3-turn tile for some free damage, Polaris has 3* Kimoyo Beads which gives me a 27.95% chance of gaining 2 Blue when I make a blue match, and Kitty has 3* Avengers Tower as that gives me a 38% chance of getting a few yellow at the beginning of the match but, more importantly, I get a protect tile any time I make a 4-match or better. (I have been considering replacing this with my 3* Element Guns to get a chance at an attack tile when a power is fired, because any time I can get an attack tile, that means my strike tiles activate at least twice per turn)

Essential Nodes - Depends on how important placement is to me. If I'm going for time, then 5* Okoye (with 5* Royal Talon Fighter) and Immortal Hulk (with Taskmaster's Sword) is my fastest team, but also my biggest Health Pack sink, and occasionally, a bust. If I'm just concerned with progression, then I'll lean on Kitty/G4ocket as a more reliable team (they also step in for Hulkoye when they can't pull it off). I've also been playing with Shang-Chi with either Prof X or Onslaught (because playing Shang-Chi is more puzzlier for me, so I enjoy it more) when I'm just playing for progression.

Challenge Node - Usually this is Polaris, Beta Ry Bill (with 4* Yaro Root to give me a chance at 5 green when starting), and 4* Thanos (with 3* Atlantis, also there to increase my starting green). This is a typical Winfinite team and gets the job done most of the time. Since they've started boosting 5*s, there are often some 5* teams that can be made to handle this node, but this is still my go-to. (Note - a lot of folks have changed Thanos to 1* Juggernaut as a faster/easier ramp. I have not because I find with Atlantis, Thanos is almost as easy a ramp for green, and I can't give a support to 1* Juggie)
