I was just noticing that there are 75 5*s. I feel like that number has increased dramatically

Woke up to a 5* Riri cover and 2500 Shards. I know Harpua feels like the new dev team makes a lot of errors, but there's a generosity to them that is way beyond what we had before.

Shang-chi is my go to. I have played him with different toons and while I worked hard to champ X5 I have found that Onslaught with 5 covers works better. I am sure that once I champ Onslaught things will work even more. The board shakeup with destroying all TUs is the best way to just cascade your way to victory or just getting that match to prevent losing combo points.

My PVE team is Melinda May, SC, and Onslaught.

For me, PVE is SC, Onslaught, and Prof X - I agree Onslaught is more effective and SC/Onslaught is my go-to for essential rounds. I'll add that Onslaught's blue is also useful to generate more board shake, even when the tile changing isn't going to create more red or purple.

I've been doing Chasm/iHulk in PVP more often lately. I don't particularly enjoy it and it's a longer game time than some of my other teams (and I will never enter a Chasm v Chasm battle ever again, unless I want to spend 20 minutes on the match). BUT --- I find I get hit much less frequently with them as my defense team.

But they make short work of Scarlet Witch teams, Colossus teams, and pretty much anything other than another iHulk/Chasm team. Oh, if 5* Iceman is on the opposing team, I'll target him first. Random stunning is no joke to this team.

Once I am able to champ Onslaught I will try your team out. So far Melinda May can usually net me 3 purple AP for a decent hit in PVE and that just keeps feeding the combo. In PVP she nets me 3 red AP because the supports don't work there and it just feeds a board shake/heal for SC. Free AP is the way to go, it is like cruising in with that now defunct option to hypersonic speed.

Yeesh, I'm getting curbstomped by today's PvE node. Ran up the score best I could the last couple days, hope it's enough.

What is giving you the most difficulty?

Since I'm still pretty low-level, I can't take a hit. Normally I can make it through SCL10 with BRB/Mighty Thor/Polaris, between flooding the zone with Protect tiles and racking up blue for stuns. Venom turns those Protect tiles into a liability and I can only deny yellow for so long.

The 5* She-Hulk fight with Venom/3* Ock/Sandman smacks the crap out of me too.

(shrug) I'm still at 286 with Polaris, and my highest otherwise are all 285. As I'm able to level up more, I'll be better capable of taking a hit. Gotta be patient.

(though I'm glad for the quest - it's for one of the few 2* supports I have, so I'm guaranteed an upgrade)

Happy Shardsgiving !!!! There were 272 retro rewards waiting for me this morning and 16 of them were covers ten 4*s and six 5*s.

I was in your place before. Remember to use your boosts so you can start with 4 blue so you just need to be able to make at minimum 1 blue match or max 3 matches of shields (to trigger BRB) so you can land your first stun.

I didn't have to worry about that previous strategy when I champed BRB because he will tank most colors and soak up damage.

My set up had Carol's Communicator on Polaris, 3* Yaro Root on Thanos, and Lucky on BRB. As I look through your supports you would benefit more from putting Atlantis on BRB to gain green AP and Carol's Communicator on Polaris to heal her. or just flip flop them.

With the new puzzle gauntlet if you are able to get a level 4 Vibranium Ore you will also be in a great place to add to your winfinite team.

Reddit is where we got a new guy. He's been kicking butt in alliance events. His daily play has dropped off because of work but he helps get us our 5*

FYI Since they changed the placement prizes in PVE you can now get an LT for top 100 at the end of the current PVE event. I hope it continues.
