Iceman carries Spiderman onto one of the covered picnic roofs.
Man-Thing makes his way north through the brush.
Firestar uses the Avengers team ability to move without getting an action token, moving into the bush maze.
No time for a story.
I placed the other two sets of objects at random.
All final positions of my figures and the rest of the objects are now on the map.
Personally I love the F4 TA as it is. The only way it is unbalanced is when you only have a couple on your team, making it quite weak. When your whole team consists of them, then it's quite powerful.
The key to using it effectively is to push all your figures once early on. That way you get an early game advantage- making extra turns in the early game instead of clearing, and as soon as one of them get KOed you can do it all over again. That's how to use it to effect your 'snowball'
Anyway, I'll try out your version. It's funny but all of my figures feel a LOT different under these rules. Sue's Defend is a lot weaker, but her EE is stronger (glad I went with the LE). Does EE damage get reduced? Does the targets defense go down for ALL of my team, or just those with the F4 TA?
Moving shortly...

Black Panther runs to GG26 and dives into the bushes.
Thing runs all the way to HH26, picking up the Heavy Object on his way.
Human Torch picks up Sue and flies to II26. He places Invisible Woman in HH27.
Positions:
Franklin Richards BB36
Alicia Masters BB35
Human Torch II26 @
Invisible Woman HH27
Black Panther GG26 @
Thing HH26 @ HO
Note that Panther, Thing and Torch all get +1 to their Defense.
Story post:
"Alright, lets crush these mooks so we can get back to our picnic."
"Cautiously Ben. Allow me to scout out ahead" T'challa immediately dissappeared into the bushes. Ben stomped along behind him, picking up a statue of some knight on his way past. "This might come in handy. Hey where'd ya go ya high-fallutin...oh there ya are." Grimm peered into the bushes, spotting the Panther crouching down.
"Shh...you're giving away my position"
"Oh, sorry cat-britches."
Johnny Storm landed beside Ben, gently placing his sister on the ground. "What you looking at in the bushes there Gravel-head?"
"Oh, ah, nuthin. There's no-one hiding in the bushes" Panther just rolled his eyes. Spotting Firestar flying by nearby he called out softly to her.
"Miss Firestar, nice to see you again. What is our situation like from your vantage point?"

Boomerang: P..P..Pu..Punis...Punisher. THE PUNISHER!!!!! THE PUNISHER IS HERE!!!????
Electro: @%&#!! What the @$%# is that %&$# lunatic doing here? $%&# @#$% @$$!
Boomerang: That guy is a murderer.
Doc Ock: Do you guys ever do anything other than complain? You're worse than comic book nerds!
Doctor Octopus storms off furious with his team's incompetence he forgets to give them orders.
Sandman: Where is he going?
Mysterio: I predict that he is after Spider-man.
Electro: Yes, Spider-man has defeated me 5,000 times too, but at least I'm not obsessive about it, and willing to make it 5,001 like he is.
Bullseye: I'm a murderer too. If Castle has the guts to come over here I'll deal with him.
Bullseye runs up determined.
Boomerang: Wait, you aren't afraid of Punisher? Wait for me!!!
Mysterio, Sandman, and Electro all look at each wondering what they are suppose to do.

The Fantastic Four TA only gives the bonus to other Fantastic Four team mates. (Not PB or Franklin Richards)
The reasoning behind the defend change:
Rookie invisible girl was a monster. Defend on a low cost figure with a high defense made her a key to many rules exploiting turtle teams. Besides making IG a "broken Piece" Defend also made Frank Schlicting and Professor Xavier broken on the other end of the spectrum. Those figures were charged for "Defend" which made their costs higher, yet due to their low defensive values it was of little use. Another problem was that the lower a figure's defensive value the more benefit they got from being teamed with a figure like Invisible Girl. Invisible girl was a great ally for figures like Rhino, but little help at all to figures like Juggernaut. This tended to give some of these figures and artificial boost, and not others....how could this help promote balance?
Under these new rules Professor Xavier's Defend is every bit as useful as Invisible Girls Defend, and all recipients of the +1 defense are helped equally. This serves to give Prof X a needed boost, and trim down IG's value, which was also needed, all at the same time giving the rest of the figures a flat boost which will not throw them out of balance relative to one another.
Oh and you don't have to declare Super Senses, Stealth and Defend as being active. We'll assume those powers are always on. If you attack someone standing next to someone with defend, you must factor that +1 into your targets defensive value.
Now powers like Mastermind and Plasticity however, it would be a good idea to state the use of ahead of time. Example: "If Boomerang gets attacked this turn, Sandman will be using Plasticity to divert the damage onto himself."
Also if you attack someone with mastermind or next to a figure with Plasticity, you should try to send them an e-mail asking them if they want to divert the damage (providing they haven't already declared so like the example above.)
Wakandaman. It costs 2 points of movement to enter hindering terrain if you don't have leap/climb or flight. So Black Panther can't get to GG26. Also you just plain moved Thing 9 squares...his movement is only 8. Since it looks like you were planning on moving all your figures into some kind of formation and Invisible Woman was moving last, I'm disallowing all your moves. Redo your whole turn. You have until midnight to post legal moves or your figures will all pass.
Some notes on the map. Those four corners of the "castle" are Elevated-Blocking terrain, just like an air conditioner on the roof of the original outdoor building map.
And the gray boarder squares of the 4 fountains are Water-Hindering terrain. They effect movement like Water or Hindering...whichever is worse for your figure. And for Combat effect line of sight like hindering terrain.
Doctor Octopus: Mysterio, go talk to the newcomers, and see if we can make allies out of them.
Boomerang: I think I just saw a tree move!
Sandman: I don't see nothin!
Electro: Me either. Get your wits together Boomerang.
Boomerang: I'm tellin ya mate, I saw a tree move.
Bullseye: Don't listen him, he spent all day watching the LoTR. And last night he was claiming to be the rightful heir to the thrown of Gondor.
Boomerang: I'm not saying I saw a treant, but I saw something that look like a tree move! You can not believe me if you want, but if you get swallowed by a giant plant, don't bother calling for me.
Bullseye: Spider-man has arrived.
Doctor Octopus: Everything is coming together now. I shall capture Spider-man, and make him know the meaning of pain and suffering.
Sandman: Hey look there is a hot blond. She acting like she is blind. Ha, she won't even know I'm made out of sand.
Electro: Except when she hugs you, and becomes engulfed in sand.
Sandman: What!? What are they doing here! She is having a picnic with the FF!
Electro: Leave it to those hippies to have a picnic out in the middle of no where.
Doctor Octopus: Blasted! They are ruining everything. I shall make them suffer for their family spirit!
An Image of Mysterio pops up next to Deathstroke
Mysterio (In his most spooky voice) Outsiders beware. Attack the Six and prepare for retribution, or help us and be rewarded. Tell me what brings you here?
Deathstroke : We wish for items of great power.
Mysterio: Hmmm, see the family with 4's on their chest?
Deathstroke nods
Mysterio: Take them captive, and their 4th member Reed Richards will have to submit to you. Richards can make anything.
Deathstroke: Anything?
Mysterio : Anything. Shrink rays, time machines, extra planer travel devices, you name it this guy can do it
Deathstroke: We accept.
Back to the rest of the Six
Boomerang: Is that Captain freakin America charging over here?
Electro: This just gets better and better.
Bullseye: Castle, thats Frank Castle The Punisher.

That's weird that it costs 2 movement points to ENTER hindering. Does it also cost two to exit hindering onto clear terrain, or is that only one?
Thing was just a mess up. I thought he had 10 move and didn't bother to check it.
I totally understand the Defend change as it was quite abusable. What I don't get is that you weakened it, AND left it as one of the few defensive powers that can be outwitted. I don't see how anyone can Outwit Sue's shields, and it would be a LOT more simpler if ALL defensive powers weren't outwittable.
Re-do Turn 1 (pretty simple change, everyone just comes back one square)
Black Panther runs to GG27 and dives into the bushes.
Thing runs all the way to HH27, picking up the Heavy Object on his way.
Human Torch picks up Sue and flies to II27. He places Invisible Woman in HH28.

Question:
"That's weird that it costs 2 movement points to ENTER hindering. Does it also cost two to exit hindering onto clear terrain, or is that only one?"
No, the cost is paid to enter each square. 1 for clear, 2 for hindering, 3 for water.
Can't say the movement is inspiring Brazil. It's exactly the same as in Mage Knight Dungeons. I think you'd like some of their maps though. The movement cost is printed on the tiles of the map.
Why were some wildcard teams given superior abilities and not all given the same one?
