My favourite Thor in the game! I know that he lacks impervious, but that 33% chance to avoid damage isn't that great and would have raised his cost. His trait is perfect and makes him super dangerous and people forget about it all the time. I love how his invulnerability returns late dial. The look on opponents faces when they first notice that is priceless! The only problem: no ranged combat expert or special power to represent Thor throwing Mjolnir. Even 2 clicks of something to make that thrown hammer seem scarier than it is would have been perfect. Maybe a special that allowed Thor to use running shot and rce or ew together?

I dig this Goldilocks for sure, 7 Clicks of Inv?!? 12 Attack with 18 Defense? HUGE damage all the way down the dial? Ummm... yes please. Impervious is cool... but I never make that roll anyways... ask my E Juggernaut or LE Cain Marko... :-( Plus he FEELS like Thor when you play him.. and that makes all the difference to me.

This Thor is still worth considering, even though there are a ton of alternatives in recent sets. Indeed, compared to the Avengers Movie Thors, this guy has some solid advantages: longer range, more clicks of 5 damage, and a starting 12 AV. Of course, the lack of Impervious is odd, and he needs some "thunder god" powers (EE, PW etc.) I'm still waiting for the perfect Thor, but this is one of the better ones - simple, but effective.

CW Sharon Carter has made some great friends with Thor and War Machine from this set.

After all this time this guy is still a beast!

possibly the best thor ever made entered him and 3 other thors inculding the 186 point ultimates monster and his average attack was the highest and close second for damage value plus that 12 attack running shot leadership ew cce a ton of useful powers however i'll admit the costs between him and the 186 pointer are identical when the latter has a full guantlet but when played against eachother the new guy could easily crack those defense values anywhere on his dial personally i think this is the closest thor dial wise to the ultimates. i love that upfront running shot that range has some defense(still averges less than the latest ones) indomidable high attack and an average damage of 4.11 the movie 250 point thor 3.5 average so yeah give the ultimates a little defense and even more attack and indomible and here he is like it or not.

@ owlman166 I think this is better than the ultamites for not defense but the avengers keyword so much evil with sharon Carter's stealth and morgan's double perplex I've purchased the ultimates monster and while his lower point cost allows more feats support and some intresting team mates such as Dracula which is fun to use he'd be the best if he could use some of those abilities granted by one keyword

Still playable nowadays but outclassed by Ragnarok (same stats, better powers) and probably several Thors out there.

Geez, look at these stats. Look at that damage and fighting. He can put a serious hurtin' with range and God help you if he gets in to close-combat you late in his dial. This Thor is STILL worthy, even by today's standards.

In 2021, this Thor has nothing less than 10 ATK/4 DMG in close thanks to the Passive CCE. Still a beast after all these years.

Agreed. And since you can't upgrade the Damage stat with Perplex, these stats with the new rules and his Range still makes this Thor a force to be reckoned with.
