I haven't played him, so there's that...but I've seen him in action several times, and he never fails to own- in fact, I'm not sure I've seen him take damage yet. Great stat/power set, and indomitable to boot- and let's not forget super strength as a trait!!! Beast of beasts.
Are people still complaining? People said this guy was weak when his dial was spoiled? He's a damage dealing monster! Kills and kills and doesn't stop. Good keywords, too.

Black Bolt of the Vegas Illuminati
He's a beat stick. I've played him once. It was a 2000 point game, Asgardian keyword. It would be easy to overlook him in a game of that size, considering all the other figures I was using. He and his excellent brother (SR Loki) stood head and shoulders above the rest of my team. I actually allowed Thor to take 2 Damage in the game, instead of using the Protected I had on him, so that he could hit back the next turn. He was wiping the floor with my opponents figures, and must have KOd at least 2x his own cost in figures. Best Thor ever IMO. Costed perfectly. My only 'gripe' is no Impervious, but I can overlook that considering his other excellent attributes.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Finally, a Thor I can get behind! Perfectly capable of going the whole game with lightning strikes alone, Thor prefers close combat the further he gets into his dial. Thor brings brutal stats and, perhaps even more effective, great keywords that practically build your 300 point team for you. Thor is the sort of figure that you have to rewrite your strategy for as soon as you see your opponent set him out. As intimidating as a viking god should be.
This is the God of Thunder and Rock'n'roll that I have wanted to play. He took Air Walker out in 2 blows of RS. Add a Valkyrie as his personal assistant and you have a very deadly and versatile winning game piece. Nuff said!

My only beef is no Impervious. When people who are less durable than Thor by far get Impervious over him, it makes you wonder what the heck is going on? His frog counterpart gets Impervious and he does not?
Just perfect. And I have to agree that the best thing about him is that he's common. Given the dial and the sweet sculpt, if someone had shown him to me and asked me to guess his rarity I definitely would have said super rare or maybe even chase. I'm so glad that I can actually get one, even if it does mean that I have to play against three of him at every tournament.

Totally awesome piece. And now we have a complete all fives avengers big-3.
Try play him with contingency plan+ HoT Captain America + SI Iron Man (498 build total) and just see how they (running) shoot your opponents to death. They will secure the first atack always with their ranges and 10 move RS. And with contingency plan (and you will never consume all the actions per turn, so every turn the feat recharges) you will have your stats incremented.
