I don't totally agree with your last paragraph, though. If I'm understanding the rules right, even if end game ends up with (say) 2 'mafia' and 2 'town' they all win.
It's possible as in any game that certain roles have special win conditions and cannot win under the "last 4" ruling. I think last game the SK won after making 5 kills instead of being the final player. The 'mafia' as it were may also have special rules for endgame that could mess with the presumed default win scenario.
I mostly want to find out if anyone picked Nate Sineater and take him out. I'd argue he's probably the biggest threat above any of the various teams, considering we have multiple teams with not a full idea of what each of those teams represents.
Because if the sword were real, the words "To Arthur, destroyer of the Great Beast." would not have been engraved on the sword itself.

The Umbrella is directly opposed to them so I assume they are an opposite faction.
I'm forced to raise the question of how one submits a character that's supposed to be aligned with one team or another short of requesting that teams leader. I didn't have any team in mind when I made my characters. Did you request a pairing made of up two characters who don't like tech?
Event answer: The sword was made of ice, the silver mantel made it look real, but it melted after it was in Rye's scabbard for a few hours.

____ "A Justice League? Sounds stupid."
____ "Find more people to recruit. Once we have a good team, we will hunt down Sineater and rescue Dani Carlyle."
____ "Why am I doing the recruiting?" Asked Varuna.

Varuna is half Aquaman. Gangles half Batman.
Thing is that Marvel doesn't have the Justice League, and ever character requires both a Marvel character and DC character. Picking a Justice League DC character is easy enough, but how do you pick a Marvel character to back up allying with the Justice League?
In hindsight, this implies the League may come from all over. Possibly the four survivors?
That's not a crazy idea; I could definitely see it being a viable possibility.
Though if so, I'd also have to question if Sineater is in the game - he may not actually be here other than as a story element and we can't actually eliminate him in-game by way of getting rid of a player.

Avengers would be my best guess on that front.
Sure, but all we know so far is that two of the original 7 JLA are forming a league. I'm guessing JoH picked one of the original 7 Justice Leaguers that are left in the Hybridity pool: Superman, Wonder Woman, Wally, and Martian Manhunter would all be available.

Not sure what's leading you to this conclusion. Like most Hybridity games, there's an equal possibility that a character like Sineater is NPC or PC. Maybe I'm just not following you, but I don't see how the two would be connected.
Saying Sineater is cheating and not in the spirit of the game
That's why I put an angry face next to it.
Actually just realized something - Sineater's lair appears to be near the Loch, judging by the opening write-up. So I think they go to the top of my list.
