____ Scion had never seen so much jungle before. The air was thick, hot and wet. He could feel his blue suit sticking to him, and he wondered if he'd have to wash it later.

____ Providence walked ahead of him. Her flailing wires easily sliced through leaves and branches that got in her way. She looked she enjoyed it a little too much.

____ "Here," said Providence. Her gears clicked as she stopped.

____ Their guide was a hairy blue fox, or at least a man that could change into one.

____ "We haven't discovered Dreamwalker's whereabouts," said the blue fox, whose real name was Beastman.

____ "I have traveled to where I wanted to go."

____ Scion looked around. What was so special about here? It was just a small clearing with an old, metal tower at its centre. Maybe a broadcast tower?

____ "This is where I will construct my base. This is where my revenge begins."

____ "Whoa, wait a second." Said Scion. "Nate Sineater isn't here, I thought-"

____ "Your help has been noted. But this entire world needs to suffer now. They chained the Goddess of Death for too long."

____ She must have noticed his horrified reaction, because a smile like half a clock ticked onto her face. "Do not worry. I will kill you last."

____ The mechanical fiend known as Providence plunged her dark wires into the broadcast tower and began to twist it. Screeching metal rang out as she started to construct a tower for herself.

____ Scion stepped forward to stop her, but her reactions were quick. She wrapped her wiry tentacle around his neck, and then launched him through the jungle and far away from where she was.

____ Beastman ran off.


____ It was hours later when Scion regained consciousness, and the realization of what he had inflicted upon the world finally caught up with him. He had to find Dreamwalker, this was his province after all, and maybe he could stop this Goddess of Death.

Somewhere Near The Loch

____ "Oh look, she's coming to."

____ Dani Carlyle felt like a bus had hit her, backed up, and then hit her again.

____ She opened her eyes and saw Nate Sineater staring down at her. His pale face held a determined and focused expression. Behind him, a man with a pig head prepared a needle.

____ "I was worried we wouldn't get to say hello before it started."

____ Her throat hurt to speak, but she forced it through. "Before...what started?"

____ Nate Sineater winked.

____ "You Endless are really special, you know that? And quite frankly, I want to know why. I want to be special too."

____ "Yeah, you're special already." Said Dani, rolling her eyes. "Besides, what makes you think you can just take our power?"

____ "Let's just say I've done this before. In fact, I've been trying to gather up all my ancient artifacts to melt them down, get the rare Colu mineral, and use it to form something new. With the power of The Endless I will be a God."

____ Dani squirmed, but she was shackled to the table.

____ "Stop that, the other one didn't seem to mind."

____ "Other one?"

____ That was when Dani Carlyle realized there was someone else in the room. She turned her head, and beside her not a short distance away, was Blind Justice. Only he had been mutilated, with an arm and pieces of flesh missing.

____ She screamed.

____ "Now hold still."

____ There was a sharp prick, and then she felt sleepy. Very sleepy.

Interesting rules... a suitable challenge indeed.

I am here!

I am very interested in and excited to see how having multiple story factions works into the gameplay.

Huh... Interesting rules. I like it!

This presents a lot of potential problems.... Which is going to be fun.

First clarification: can we send in actions prior to the end of the day phase?

I am going to want name claims. If people are mostly in factions (which is what I expect), we will likely want to see if someone is currently in our own faction. Also, we probably universally want to kill off the neutrals.

From the opening write up, I sincerely think the neutrals are going to be very, very bad for everyone.

I also expect approximately 6 kills a night.

Suggestion to Stranger: I bet you already have a plan, but if you don't have it planned out yet, you might not want lynched players to chime back into the game until the consecutive day phase. That way, they will be joining with all the other players that died in the night phase.

How exactly does a 'Day 0' work? Are there any limitations?

It means two lynches!

Leads right into Day 1.

Judging by the number of factions/players, I'm assuming there may be some factions that will only have 1-2 characters in the game at any given time.

Since there isn't a 'town' affiliation, anyone without your affiliation is technically a neutral/scum faction, so claiming an affiliation could put targets on players' backs. Currently, all players should assume that any faction could have a NK, including their own.

This is amazing. I really can't wait for this to truly get underway.
