Good point. I forgot that cap said that the person had connections to wilson fisk. I dont know of the her having any connections to him so its probally not her. Shang chi? I dont know of him having connecions to fisk eithier. Elektra is the only one now who seems to qualify.

So as suspected Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) has been moonlighting for HYDRA. They still haven't given the identity of everyone's favorite mystery ninja, but now Silver Samurai is back in action things should pick up here quickly.

That explains why the limited edition Heroclix of her has the Hydra affiliation...Not that it is horribly relevant, but thanks for the info.

OK I'm gonna be swinging for the fences here.

It seems that shield is bad guy. At some point some rogue piece of hydra has infiltrated the shield and took over at least a part of it. Now the Shield/Hydra is looking to destroy the other older parts of Hydra and fully assimilate SHIELD. On the other side Hydra has joined with (or at least employeed) the hand, and is now trying to team with the yoshida clan(ala the silver smaurai) to join with the japanese underworld(yakuza to you and me). And they were able to do this because silver samuri escaped during "breakout" where he was being held there by shield/hydra. Meanwhile, hydra/hand is employing Jess as a mole in the new avengers.

Now the New Avengers have come up against the hydra/shield thing a few times though at the time we thought they were just over zealous shield agents but those incidents take on new light now.

Add all these things together and you can come up with only one conclusion. Nick Fury caused the breakout.

Nick Fury is gonna be the one that has manipulated this entire story from day one. He would have been ideally placed to know exactly who was in the prison, who was visting the prision on that day. He scheduled the break out to free the silver samurai. He made sure that electro got away with sauron so that the "new" avengers would run into the rogue elements of shield. I think Nick(and the few remaining loyal shield agents) are working with the hydra/hand/yakuza to stop the rogue shield before things get crazy. That's why Jessica is working with hydra not because she is betraying shield, but because she is one of the few loyal shield agents left.

The only thing I haven't figured out yet is if Cap is in on it. I'm thinking he is but I'm not sure yet.

So Drew has been outed by Cap, and like Dan said I'm sure now that this is Fury's doing. I think he has her under deep cover to weed out the real perps behind the HYDRA/HAND exploits.
