If there didn't appear to be a roleblock, than a kill may not have been blocked. But if somebody didn't take an action that somebody could have a kill.

I'm of the opinion that the first paragraph was a protection from a kill and not a block, so this angle seems wrong.

My curiosity has been peaked about something, but I can't reveal just what yet. However, in a few day phases, I may need to refer back to this post to show that something was troubling me on this day.

Well, scum and SKs have to make a kill each night. If coyotejack didn't take an action, then its unlikely that he has a kill. If he were not on the level and had a kill power, he'd have had to make it. The fact that he didn't means that if he does have a kill power, he may be the Vig.
