I'm missing a line of reasoning here. Why would those folks in particular not choose to kill Ana?
Ana is a seldom player with no enemies that I know of. I will say it's kind of a jerk move to kill a light player, but none of us are above that.
The bolded answers your question. I'm of the mind that most of us choose not to kill people who don't get to play often or have recently gotten killed early.
Who is scum? If you had to bet the game on one player being bad, who do you pick?
Hmmm... interesting question. Don't have a strong read on any of them yet
DB and Link are very similar to me in that they both always feel more scummy than they actually may be.
Grinner and Johanna I can never get a good read on as they typically don't try to push or pull as much as others... Grinner typically not acting until he makes it towards the end.
But to answer your question: Grinner (zero posts thus far)

There is that and we do try to make everyone feel welcome. Shoot, my first game here I was left alive until the very end and I was outed as a cop on day 2/3.
The question is whether I should milk my recent health issues for personal in-game mafia gain.

Hmm... this sentiment brings something else up. Ana didn't have any posts Day 1. Night one if a vigilante doesn't have a target in mind, they might just randomize between the silent people, especially if for one reason or another they are forced to use their night kill.

I would agree except that the other death was a scummer with no MD that I can see. That would mean that the scummers targeted one of their own. Not impossible, but it's a really tough sell.

Yeah, I'd be more willing to believe it was a Freddy (that's the role where the lowest poster gets killed, right?) than a vig kill. However it was most likely the Simians going after a silent party that probably wouldn't get much heat from RTs and whatnot.
If I had to pick one, I would say Grinner is most likely scum. I don't feel strongly about that, but if those were my choices, I'd go that way.
Also, I think Anathae hit a PGO. She saw something and went crazy. That's more like a PGO than an actual hit.
I need to read it again (posting from my phone). I'll have time tonight. Anyway, that was also my impression: pgo death for Anathae, but I thought it was from targeting Afcngy - which in retrospect was a likely misread.
My current read is DestrcutoBoy as likeliest mafia. JoH is playing very aggressive if he is not town, but he is not Simean imo. I

Wasn't the crazy cage a Varuna thing or am I misremembering that? Also, the crazy part could be because she got her brain scrambled by Ceaser ala Swarm

Yep, that's more likely. I'm just trying to list the possibilities.
All plausible theories. The hangup for me is if Ana was a PGO casualty, then that means one targeted kill that hit a scummer. Maybe an MD, but that would make the killer(Skarn) mafia which doesn't add up or a mafia that didn't make a kill last night.
I suppose if the mafia had foregone their kill in favor of a PGO... I believe Stranger has given that option before.
