____ Ulfnar's claw snatched at the dirt as he pulled his broken body up from the cliff face and onto the flat, grassy surface above. He winced as the torn flesh on his stomach stretched and pulled.
____ Doesn't matter, I'm here.
____ Months of traveling took Ulfnar from Lantus to Waysh, through harsh waves and bouts of starvation. Then there was his battle with Skarn and this lovely wound as a parting gift...
____ A single house waited on the grassy flatland. Its walls were charcoal black and its roof was a geometric orange sun.
____ Gotta protect this staff. A pat on his hip told him it was still there.
____ Heavy eyes began to take his vision, and through them the image of a young witch withdrew from the house. He watched her come as sleep took him.

Fawscym
____ The port at Fawscym bustled with merchants and seafarers. This was a city of entrepreneurship and production, as its location between the provinces of Walu and Potmos provided more than enough traffic.
____ Varuna knew it well.
____ The coffee he sipped was warm, on the edge of becoming cool and unwelcome. Still, this was a nice cafe and he didn't mind spending all afternoon sitting there and waiting for the man to show up.
____ How hard is it to find a good assassin anymore?
____ The first two had been easy.
____ Beastman and Swarm had been dispatched to Savage Island, just a bit Southwest of the city. Maybe they had better luck.
____ The Endless had delayed their summit over and over again. First, not all of the members wanted to be there, something about arguing with eachother about land, or the war, or something equally stupid. Then they were worried about assassinations (rightly so).
____ But now, finally, their meetup was set for a few days.
____ Varuna dragged his hook-hand across the wooden table in anticipation. Once they dispatched of The Endless, Caesar would be pleased with him and that was all the once ruler of Lantus wanted. That and revenge on the creature that took his hand.
____ The assassin arrived shortly afterwards.

Outside Horseshoe Bay
____ "Hey, can you not stare at me while I'm sleeping?" Said Scion.
____ Providence stared back, unblinking.
____ "I guess not."
____ The mechanical fiend turned away, towards the blue waves that crashed against their boat.
____ Her metal wings fluttered and leaked oil.
____ The boat was made of wires and valves. It looked twisted, metallic and unworldly in its design. Scion thought it looked like a junkyard pirate ship.
____ Providence had told him everything she knew while they were in The Great Unknown, and he had never realized how vast it all was. In return he agreed to help her in her quest to find the person that chained her there.
____ As long as they found Red along the way.
____ He still had trouble wrapping his mind around the fact that The Endless were once his friends, the same ones that had left to battle Kalum in Heaven.
____ Comprehension was an intangible shadow.
____ What had become of them? How did they get here before himself and Red?
____ Scion needed answers, and the summit was going to provide them.
Here are a few notes to prepare you for this game.
1) Some of the mafia members have been randomized.
2) There will be some events that occur, their rules and guidelines will be explained as they happen.
3) Participation is important. You don't need to spam, but being quiet only hurts your side.
4) Tensions run high in these games, but remember we're all friends. We're all sitting around a virtual table having fun. Don't take things personally.
5) Do not trust anyone.
Okay, now with that out of the way this game is open!
Almost first.
Can anyone explain to me what the differences are between this and a normal mafia game? I've read through some older ones and they seemed interesting, but I didn't really understand what was going on.

See, you've already found the difference!
Basically these are much more RP/story-heavy than other games. There will be long writeups that will have plenty of things that don't directly relate to anybody's characters or actions. It's pretty common to have major characters in the story actually be NPCs (in fact, almost certain). So just sit back and enjoy the story while also playing some mafia.
And if Roy starts offering people deals or trying to sell products, immediately lynch him.
Let's lynch CBob for being a capitalist pigdog who doesn't care about zee workers.
Wait why am I a capitalist when advocating the overthrow (if you will) of Blatant Cashgrab, literally the embodiment of the capitalist id? Might as well be named Bourgeois Cashgrab.
