Going back to vikingRS's question regarding objects, isn't there a cap to the number of special objects you can use. I want to say it was 1 for every 300 pts. On your build total. Sorry can't link the section from the rule book writing from my phone. Also Viking there is a 5 point pog with the fantastic four TA you might find to be helpful when building a fantastic four team. Not to mention a 6 pts. Pog with the spiderman TA. Makes for some good free healing if you get them killed or push them. Again sorry I can't link them
if I had a dollar for every time I thought about heroclix, I might have enough money to keep up with the NECA's Clix release schedule.

Objects no longer work that way.
Objects are no longer randomly drawn at the start of the game. Instead, you now build objects into your team (hence the point value of some) and those objects remain the same through out the tournament just like your team remains unchanged. You now can bring one light (regular or special) object, one heavy (regular or special), and one whatever (including blue immobile objects).
Note that you still can't bring more than one copy of a single special object, and if you only bring two objects, they can't be the same type (heavy, light, immobile). Also, since objects are part of your force now, you have to put the same objects on the map each game in a tournament.

what prevents me from bringing 2 heavy or 2 light?
I got one under the heavy/light
I got one under the Any
Nothing says that they all have to be different is there?
When building a force, players may choose 0-3 objects. Based on the number of objects a player chooses they can include:
1 object – any type (heavy, light, or immobile)
2 objects – any two types that are not the same
3 objects – one can be any type, the other two must be a heavy and a light.
Simply put, when writing the rules, the designers failed to consider bringing less than three objects, but the idea of the rule was to require some diversity of objects. The clarification maintains that idea.

I knew of Alicia but hadn't considered MJ. Thanks for mentioning though! Also there is a 6pt pog (Alfred Pennyworth) that has the Batman Ally TA. Great for Wildcarding Stealth!

As for the objects rules everyone is talking about. I don't know if it's in the rules but our judge allows us to choose not to field some or all of our objects in any given match. Though I do think that objects that cost points then become free points to you opponent, sometimes it is an important tactical decision.
^nevermind, I was wrong^
I once played the Shield Disruptor when I shouldn't have (9/10ths of my opponents forces didn't have damage reducers) and it screwed myself as I didn't notice that I had pushed Thor and Loki too close. My opponent concentrated fire and wiped them off the map. Didn't help that I forgot shape change also.

That is not allowed in the rules. Objects are now part of your build; you can't choose to not use a heavy object you built your team with any more than you could simply choose to not use Spider-Man.
If your judge let's you do that, fine, but know that it is a house rule and you will not necessarily be able to do this if you ever play anywhere else.
This is a copy of my tournament report. I am copying it here because I would like opinions and see if anyone agrees with me on a few points I added in.
300pt Sealed on 12/20/2010
2 boosters
Prize: White Lantern Object
Record: 0-3
Pulls: might edit in later, though one was Ares and another U Supes
Team:
Kyle Rayner
U Batman
Ice
Opponent 1:
Atrocitus and Troia
Map: WoS Bridge
I got beat badly. I whiffed on a number of rolls.
When it was down to Kyle vs the two of them, I noticed that Kyle had a better movement. I decided to retreat a round so that I would have one attack before being based. This caused my opponent to loudly question if I was just going to be running away the rest of the round. More on this kind of stuff later.
Opponent 2:
Ares
He made a number of Impervious rolls and his trait took me down. Dice whiffed again.
Opponent 3:
Scar and Sargon
Map: Tank
He was using Scar to heal up Sargon but eventually I KO'd Sargon and got my only points of the night. It came down to a stealth'd Scar vs Kyle. Kyle is ranged so I tried some positioning to see if I could change my chances but he stayed in stealth. I tried to pass for a turn to see if he would follow to try and get to where I had less action tokens than him. Not only did he not take the bait but the idiot started loudly whining about turtling and when I tried to explain my strategy he couldn't understand it.
That pi$$e$ me off royally because I make a serious effort to play well and not pull crap like that. Some people made jokes about my character and that is the type of sh#% that makes me want to drop clix altogether.
Yes, I tried to pass. Would I win if we sat there? No, I was down on points. Would he need Kyle's points to win the tournament? No we were in near or dead last place.
He could've waited to see if I did anything different. I tried a strategic move. It didn't work and I moved on to a different strategy. And that is how strategies work folks.
Anyways, I ended up basing him and lost. End of story.
Now between the two I understand that both could be a tactic to motivate (goad) your opponent into action. I think it is just extremely bad form to complain and do it loudly on the first opportunity without even trying to see if your opponent is even planning anything different. It unjustly damages their character and shouldn't be done unless actually warranted. Was I wrong? Opinions?

As long as you do not delay the game and pass your turn in a timely manner, you are well within your rights to do so. Nothing says you must throw yourself to the wolves.
Mobilehorror's pdf doesn't allow me to select an individual feat to transfer to paint for easy printing.
Also, Rip Hunter's special power says:
TIME MASTER: Rip Hunter can use Outwit and Probability Control. The standard and named powers of Rip Hunter and friendly characters adjacent to him can't be countered.
Would that cover Mr. Fantastic's special power:
INVENTIVE GENIUS: Mr. Fantastic can use Perplex, but he can modify the target's combat values by +2 or -2 if he is targeting himself of another character with which he shares a keyword.
Is it a "named" power?
Thanks all!
