I am most impressed with the EFFORT put into completeing some teams from old sets....Ch'od of the StarJammers, Harry Leland of the Hellfire Club, and Angel of Xmen 1st class. NICELY DONE, thanks!
Yeah, honestly, it looks like a lot of teams at least have enough figures to make the team with, even if every member isn't in the team. And anyone jonesing for a team with a roster that exceeds four-five people really shouldn't be surprised when, gee, no more than four-five members of that team are made. It seems some teams don't quite hit even that four-five number, but there still looks to be a goodly amount of now-playable teams (though I admit I'm not familiar with all the characters).

Deathstroke takes on the JLA and the Teen Titans - and has taken on the Teen Titans since his creation. Wolverine is not more powerful than him - or rather, Deathstroke at his best is well above Wolverine at his best. The same applies with Batman, though there's no regular version of Batman above 120, anyway. Meanwhile, the high-point Elektra really isn't worth the points she costs, nor the 140 point Taskmaster.
Deadpool's a bit of an anomaly and I think most people are willing to concede he's a touch more powerful than he should be. It also helps that Deadpool has range, justification for Phasing, and a few other powers that Wolverine wouldn't really have.
Wolverine probably shouldn't surpass 120 points or so. And, as always, I just want good, playable versions of characters that I can build a team around. I don't want 150 points of Blades/Claws/Fangs, when I can get an equally serviceable dial at 80 points, or whatever. An "Out of the Shadows" Batman quality Wolverine beats out a hundred 150 point monstrosities most days of the week.
Well i'd say that's a matter of opinion, wolverine's first appearance (thus what he was originally meant to be) he was taking on the hulk. And i'm sure everyone here would agree he is waaaay more powerful now than he was in his first appearance.

Power wise? No....The way he's written as a character...well that vacillates but You know....I Guess over all..yes?

Sometimes it just takes forever to complete a team within Clix. Ch'od is a great example. Another good one was from Hammer of Thor when they finally made Pip the Troll, completing the Infinity Watch that they started with Moondragon way back in Clobberin' Time. Or with Infinity Challenge when they made Thanos, if you prefer.

I could see him going either way. I just know that within my play style, I'd want him costed at no more than 120.
Set looksm like a good representation of xmen in general... but i can't help to feel sad for the lack of Mr Sinister... Surely this is the set to make a playable version

My thoughts exactly. This seems to be the one character most missed from this set.
Don't give up yet, we don't know all the figures. There could be an Age of Apocalypse Mr. Sinister Chase! I want Mr. Sinister so bad.
Just wait: People keep going on about a Rogue and Gambit duo. Maybe we'll see a Gambit and Mr. Sinister duo instead! Well...probably not. But it's a possibility.

He is a mutant hunting genetically engineered monster. Or some such thing. He has the ability to track any mutant on the planet. He figured largely into the Messiah Complex story. And no, I do not technically think it is a generic.
Well, there were more than one of them... I think they're generic. In the not too distant past in uncanny, two or three of them were released on utopia, and when they were killed they released the virus that's currently affecting the island.
It's not like there's hundreds of them running around - I think were probably five or six, and they may all be dead now. But technically I guess that makes them generics?

Good enough for me. The more the merrier I say!
(I really only knew of them from Messiah Complex, so thanks for the info)
I am upping my order to a case now. Vulcan, Juggs, Prof X in the hover chair, First Class Angel, new Blob, Pryo. There are still some X-Men related clix that I was hoping for this is just about as good as possible.
An AoA starter would be awesome as would a New X-Men starter.
I'm loving this set. I would have loved Exodus, Mr. Sinister, X-Man, Mercury, Dust, M, and a few others but I'm happy with what's been revealed.
Wolverine, Storm (as Goddess), Lockheed, Rogue (hopefully done right), Elixer, Phoenix (hoping for an LE of her as well), Vulcan, Psylocke, Magneto, Stryfe, Horsemen, Caliban, Mystique, Gideon, Predator X, etc.
I can't wait to see the Large figures and wondering what was in the 2 complete teams we were supposed to get from the superboosters (I'm hoping that these were not on the poster on purpose).
Very Happy

Reason: added another want
"A person who aims at nothing is sure to hit it."
"Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead."
"He who dies with the most toys is, nonetheless, still dead."
