I like that they are taking the ideas they clearly wanted to fit into the set, and finding a way to get them made.
am very curious about how they will become available outside the cons. I'm not a completist, so I don't need this piece, but if it isn't too much of a hassle, I wouldn't mind having one.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.

Trait- The Third Horseman: Famine: Opposing characters with two action tokens modify their defense value by -1. Speed - Starve: At the beginning of your turn, if Famine has no action tokens, you may give Famine a power action. If you do, give an action token to each adjacent opposing character.
This is not a game-breaking piece, but can be nice in large-point games.
The Third Horseman: Famine trait makes Willpower/Indomitable/Power Cosmic/Quintessence figs more vulnerable. -1 to Defense can be critical.
Starve may be difficult to pull off, being limited to use only when Famine has zero Action tokens. The ability to automatically psuedo-Incap all adjacent figs can also be huge.
As to availability, I hope Famine will be the commonest SWAG at Origins events, as well as the participation prize for the $48 GSX Colossal sealed event; otherwise could be a hard sell to drop that much money for this event.

Uhhhh doesn't $48 get you a super booster and 2 regular boosters of GSX? sounds like you are actually spending less $ because you don't pay tax on it....
Generally speaking, I hate "exclusives". These figures are based on characters that people have an affinity for. Part of the draw of the game is using characters that you have some attachment to. Without that it's just a generic skirmish-type game. Making "exclusives" flies in the face of those ideals. However, if WizNECids makes this available to everyone sometime this year I'm OK with a "limited time exclusivity".
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.
It's awesome to see the Originals. Also, this is the first time they've stated that a Con LE *will* be available other ways so please stop the moaning about it. At least it's going to be available some other way rather than previous LE's being only available years later as they try to move warehouse stock.
Yea at least they aren't doing what they used to do. Making something a con exclusive, so idiots pay hundreds for it (see Might Thor), and then release it to the stores later on. Dropping the value drastically, and hurting the wallet of those that shelled out tons for it.

Maybe not. You'd have to break theme to do it, but playing a Leadership piece could make it much easier. Just have Famine move adjacent to more than one piece. Beginning of next turn your Leadership piece, if they make the roll, removes the token from Famine and frees her up do the Starve thing. Also, when she moves in, just have her drag some buddies with her to give those adjacent opponents something else to worry about.
May all your hits be crits!

Again: Con Weekend.
I can totally see the other two being some other form of Exclusive.
Maybe the Return of Con Sendaways.
MAYHAPS there's a gap between the cap Set and the Superman Set and these will be "Auxiliary" Prize Support.
I remember Prize Support originally coming in "Two waves" back in the day...maybe I'm wrong

Prize support used to come on a monthly basis, back when a venue had to register for events. The venue or the primary envoy had to register exactly what they were running for the month (at least a month in advance), and would get that prize support in the mail for that month.
I don't know how that would work now that venues are paying for the prize support. And with it tied to ordering X amount of a certain product.
Trades: WITH WoL H/W, also looking for Mandarin Rings, DoFP Rares & Nimrod

I'm not going to get in to this Con exclusive business, but I will say this is very much your personal opinion.
To me they are not minor members of the Horsemen. They are THE Horsemen, the 'make a hot property a Horseman for the week' carp we got in the main set are the minor members.

Think of all the magic beans they couldn't afford, shameful.
