I will freely offer this: I am Doppelgangers, from X-Files. One of the reasons I have been quick to point out Sculley and Mulder is that I thought that they were in the game hunting for me, bounty hunter style. My role said nothing about it.

I cannot account for the other appearances. I can up my own voting threshold to a 2/3 lynch majority, but that just invites people to kill me if it gets to that. Who trusts a guy with 2/3 lynch majority?

I have not been doing anything write-up worthy AND I have no specific powers or flavor text to support that I would look like Mulder and Scully, but it is possible. If they really are in the game as bounty hunters, I will feel truly stupid for claiming.

For lack of a better theory, I think the smoke monster may have possessed Silver Lantern and forced him to kill himself, which could be a good way to hide the kill - by making the vig look like he got misdirected. Either way, Silver Lantern's own kill should have gotten through but did not.
