There is a unique Annihilus that has three lighting bolts and Pulse Wave, Does that mean he can pulse wave three times, because you could completely ruin people if you had the first turn with that.
I hope someone can answer my question and that i'm right!
It is not legal. Pulse Wave is an area effect. The bolts tell you how many targets you can hit. Pulse Wave doesn't target anything or anyone. Annihilus just gets one Pulse Wave.
Sorry.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.

Excuse me i gotta go talk to my Local Judge..*rolls up sleeve and Cracks Knuckles*
Yeah, but you don't need to. Your figures can make a ranged attack adjacent to your own figures. The Running Shot just gets him out a little into the board.

Lying to myself was never the problem.
The problem was when I believed.

PULSE WAVE (optional): Give this character a ranged combat action. Reduce its range value by
half. Draw lines of fire to every character (friendly and opposing) within range in every direction. This attack
ignores all team abilities and powers and abilities possessed by characters within range. These lines of fire
are not blocked by character bases, but are affected normally by terrain. If clear lines of fire can be drawn
to two or more characters, this character’s damage value becomes 1 for this attack; otherwise, use this
character’s normal damage value. Compare the attack roll to the defense value of each character in range;
each hit character is dealt damage.
Yes. alot of times that's exactly when you do it. Say for example you got Human Torch and he wants to PW that meany Anihilus, who happens to be on top of his cookie jar(adjacent). If "Anny" is the only available target within range he doesn't just take "1", he takes "4" staright up! That's pretty vicious right there. The same can be said for "Anny" and his Running Shot(RS). He can move half his distance and unleash!
Hope that helps...

PW is a ranged combat action, i.e. all the limitations that apply to ranged combat actions also apply to PW. A grounded figure cannot use PW if it is based by an opposing grounded figure. If the grounded PW figure is only based by opposing flying figures it may still use ranged combat actions. On the other hand, if the PW figure is a flier it may also use ranged combat actions when based by opposing figures (grounded or not) and thus could in principle always use PW.
Pulse Wave ignores ALL Powers and Team Abilities in its Range, so this includes Toughness, Invulnerability, Impervious and Supersenses. Just plain everything. Even Stealth or the Batman TA. Any damage dealt by a PW will just cut right through, if you manage to hit the figure.
