HSS is a power action, as is BCF. HSS does not allow you to use a power action during the actions it gives you, so no, you cannot combine the two. Sorry! =)

you're right, but for the wrong reason.
HSS option 1 is a move action, HSS option 2 is a power action.
HSS option 1 allows you to make a close or ranged combat attack.
BCFs is a close combat action, not a power action. However a close combat action is not the same as a close combat attack. Therefore it can't be used with HSS.

Incorrect.
HSS can be used with powers that use a move action or a close combat attack, namely Super Strength and Steal Energy. Super Strength only requires a move action and Steal Energy activates when you make a successful close combat attack that deals damage.
Action = Thing you are doing for the round.
Attack = Part of an action.
HSS is a move action that gives you a close combat or ranged combat attack (or a power action that gives you a series of rolls that add up to a close combat attack).
Actions (other than free actions) are the whole thing that figure is doing with its turn. You can make a move action to move, a ranged combat action to attack, a close combat action to attack, or a power action to do...well..whatever the power is. You can only do one of those 4 things with a single figure.
Attacks are part of an action, and may be given during move, ranged, close-combat, or power actions, depending on the powers and abilities of the figure.
Whew...I hope that helps someone...because that was probably way more long winded than it needed to be! =)
In order to do Nightcrawler according to the rules,
he should have the Serpent society team ability, charge, and blades. That way he can go anywhere in half his movement and blade someone. Or go anywhere within his full movement. Makes much more sense than hypersonic speed.
I hate and despise all men because I count myself among the best of them and I know how bad I can be.....

Actually, Charge and the SerpSoc TA cannot be used at the same time, as they are both Power Actions....
