optional: A power that you may voluntarily cancel. It is assumed that a character is using an optional power unless its controlling player states the power is canceled for that turn.
does this mean at the end of my turn or at the end of the round?
can some explain the differences between close combat action and close combat attack?
when doing a muli range atack, and one of the target has super senses, and i hit both targets, when does the target roll for SS?
Cancelled powers come back at the end of your turn, before your opponent goes. (note: this is different from countered powers ie using Outwit)
A close combat action is what you use to do a close combat attack. Each figure is given the option of doing one of four things: Close Combat Action, Ranged Combat Action, Move Action, or Power Action. A close combat action can be used to activate certain powers, or to make a close combat attack. A Ranged Combat Action can be used to activate certain powers or make a ranged combat attack. A Move action can be used to activate certain powers (HSS Option 1) or to move your figure. A Power action is used to activate certain powers (RCE, HSS option 2, Running Shot, etc), which then give you the option of making close combat ATTACKS, ranged combat ATTACKS, or whatever the power states they do.
The target of SS rolls their SS BEFORE damage is dealt. A successful SS roll means the attack was a miss, and should be treated as if you missed the target.
