A Couple Quickies (At Least I Think They'll Be Quickies)
First one is in regards to the Batman Enemy/Sinister Syndicate TA...
They replace one attack value with the un-modified value from another figure. Can this replacement value then be modified? (I'm thinking more with Hydra/Police TA's than in regards to PERPLEX, but either way)
Second question...
Grounded figures cannot fire out of base contact with opposing figures. Flyers can. Both flyers and grounded characters may make a ranged attack on each other in base. Two grounded characters may not make ranged attacks on each other if based. If a grounded character is based by 2 opposing characters, one grounded and the other a flyer, may they make a ranged combat attack against that flyer?
If any of my preamble to the question is wrong, feel free to correct me on it too. Thanks for the assistance.

Do you have to attack the grounded character first? I would assume, since both opposing characters are adjacent, he could make a close combat attack against either. He just can't make a ranged attack because of the adjacent grounded character.

No you can still attack the flyer.. You just can't ranged combat him. As long as the flyer isn't in soaring and you don't have L/C.

If the other grounded figure is opposing, then you cannot make a ranged attack, period. You have to use close combat attacks. Now, if you KO the grounded figure first, then you are free to attack the flier with a ranged combat attack (providing your opponent hasn't moved up another grounded figure).
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Thanks to all. I thought it was just that I couldn't fire out of base, and not that I was unable to make ranged attacks. It had be nagging at me, so I'm glad I got it cleared up.
RCE? The only reason I could think you might mention that is...
It is a power action allowing a ranged combat attack so is it possible to use it to attack a target not adjacent to you, while adjacent to another opposing character?
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.
you are allowed to use RCE if you are next to only fliers. As soon as a grounded charicter (or flier with earthbound) bases you, you must use close combat attacks.
the above is if you are a grounded charicter
my question is if you are a flier based by another flier and a grounded fig can you use PB. Example
Ult Pheonix is based by Cap. Britian and Colussious (trators ) can she use PB? If so on which one, or both?

Hey! Someone that knows how to read! Give this guy a gold star!
sorry, couldn't help it. No insult intended.
And technically the target can be adjacent or not....
