It says in the MM rules that giant figures (Giant-Man for right now) are adjacent to standard/big characters 2 squares away for movement and attacking purposes.

Am I right in assuming that if a giant figure or standard character (no l/c,phase,etc) wants to move and is within 2 squares of the other, a breakaway must be rolled?

Also, can a standard character 2 squares away from a giant figure make a ranged combat attack on that giant figure? The rules say that for movement purposes standard characters are adjacent 2 squares away but for close combat they must be 1 square away. I would assume therefore that a ranged combat attack on a giant figure is possible by a standard character 2 squares away from that particular giant figure. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.
