Does energy explosion splash damage trigger mystics retailiation damage?

Also, can you mastermind splash damage from ee? Can you mastermind poison damage?

Yes. The fig is taking damage from an attack, which is the trigger for mystics team ability (and Crossgen)


You can mastermind away any 'damage dealt' to a Mastermind fig.


In both of these cases, I can only think of 3 ways of hurting the character without taking mystics damage or them being allowed to Mastermind it away:
Pulse Wave (ignores powers and team abilities)
Incapacitate (pushing doesn't "Deal Damage" per say, but forces you to 'click the dial clockwise' as pushing damage.
Force Blast them into a wall (a figure doesn't deal Knockback damage to another fig... the wall does, so Mystics doesn't trigger, but with mastermind they may still be able to transfer the damage if they hit a wall in a aquare where they are adjacent to a viable mastermind target.)
