I have the following U's and REV's and want to make a playable 300 or 400pt Batman Enemy team.
Joker U
Catwoman REV
Harley Quinn REV
Poison Ivy REV
Mad Hatter REV
The Riddler REV
The Penguin REV
Bane REV
Scarecrow RV
Two-Face RE
All figs must have the Batman Enemy team symbol apart from any Thugs/Criminals/Lackeys/Henchmen.
Can anybody help me with what the best figures are ?
So far I came up with this:
Joker U 95
Harley Quinn R 27
Catwoman R 48
Bane R 61
Scarecrow V 65
296pts
Are there any Bat Enemies with PC or TK ?
I want to stick to the fairly classic enemies but it seems that Penguin, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter are pretty weak.
I could do with a little help here !
I really like Batman Enemy teams, and i've had a lot of fun playing them, but there are distinct missing things, PC and TK among them.
If it's not too late to start tracking down some singles, for Bat Enemy teams I heartily recommend finding yourself an E Man-bat. He's got the TA, he's a reasonably cheap taxi, and he's got more clicks of health than you might think. Adds some mobility to the team.
(R Deadshot adds some nice ranged damage mobility to the team as well, but he's not quite as essential as Man-bat).
Still, your team looks okay. I've never had much luck with Scarecrow though (he looks great in theory, but I don't know, i've never gotten the most from him). If it were my team, I'd drop Scarecrow and get yourself upgrades of Catwoman (R donesn't have supersenses does she?) and Bane - E and V Banes do scary damage for a long long time.

Get yourself some legacy pieces.
they have some great bat enemies
Ra's Al-ghul
Blockbuster (ha pc)
The joker
mr.freeze
and I ditto the thought on exp Man-bat
team him up with your U Joker as MM fodder and a cheap taxi
Don't give up on mad hatter his MC teamed with a high Attack value due to TA can be devastating.
just imagine a 33 pt fig Mind controling one of their 200 pt figs to smash their own team or run up next to Mr. Bane
Its a great TA to play have fun
A batman enemy team that worked well for me in the 300 point arena:
Vet Joker (Hypertime)
Exp Bane
Exp Catwoman
Exp Man-Bat
Rookie Harlequin
2 x Rookie Criminals (though thugs might be a little cheaper, affording you three rookie thugs @ 21)
Though some of those choices were made because I didn't have the entire REV selection.
Joker's and Catwoman's outwit are nice. Man-Bat ferries Bane and hangs around doing a little damage throught he Batman Enemy Ability. The Criminals are used defensively against characters and for the Joker's mastermind (Though all the characters are usable for that).
This is what I made having only been exposed to Hypertime. I definitely think that Mr. Freeze is a great piece.
I have to agree with Ganelon, I've used Scarecrow but haven't gotten him to work quite so well. I think exploit weakness is often not necessary when you have outwit. However, his ability to incapacitate and later mind control are very nice.
If you play him take special care to protect him or keep him adjacent to a teammate with higher attack value.
i love bat enemy's but you should definently look into slipping a Freeze in there, also the Legacy Joker, imho, is way more usefull (if not more chaotic) than the HT Clown Prince, but also Killer Croc plays a good second fiddle to Bane
(man all this talk about bat villains makes me want a good clayface)
Looking at Killer Croc, I would say that his ability to maintain his high stats through his life would make him a better choice. Though Blades/Claws isn't quite as nice as Close Combat Xpt.
I would say he's a good choice, though you better keep the Man-Bat to ferry the green guy around as he is much slower.
I like that Joker in Legacy and makes for an interesting game. However, then I would say ditching the thugs are in order, as the Mastermind doesn't hang around.
vet joker from legacy is a must. he got me second place at the marquee wth that nice 18 defense to start and 12 attack/4 damage charge/outwit combo near the end. exp or vet mr freeze is better for range attack than rookie deadshot and using him with stunning blow isn't a bad combo either. for close combat exp bane, killer croc rev, ras al ghul, blockbuster vet are all good but blockbuster is a little pricey points wise. unfortunately without wildcards no tk or cheap pc. lot of outwit and perplex though.
vet joker 100
exp freze 66
exp bane 76
rook harle quin 27
exp manbat 27
4 point bystandr
=300
Death trap ko's
Nul, dark Phoenix, warlock, ironman cw,
Good points about Freeze and Blockbuster, I've not done a post-Legacy Bat Enemy yet, so they slipped my mind.
Vet Croc keeps his good attack value for almost his entire dial, which is a big thing on the team, but for sheer damage Bane still wins (I roll a lot of 1s for BCFs!)
I love Vet Clayface. His 10 move lets hip zip around quite handily, donating his starting 10 attack to anybody who really needs it. His Toughness makes him more useful as a Mastermind sponge, and Poison later on is always funny.
Hmm. May have to do a Bat-enemies at the team event our venue is running later in the month now!

i've noticed no one has mentioned Hush, he's a really good piece if played with the right team. I've seen him on bat-ememy teams that wrecked their opponent.
Well the bank won't give me credit because i'm a bad risk and I don't pay my bills on time. So I have to work for what I have!
I would only use hush i they make him ae of vet batman. even then the points would have to be there. for me vetjoker is the ideal guy to build a bat enemy team. he has 3 clicks of outwit + a click of exploit weakness, and the highest attack and defense of all the bat enemies.
Death trap ko's
Nul, dark Phoenix, warlock, ironman cw,
because no bat enemy team is complete without a Joker of some sort, and having Mr. J and hush on the same team doesnt make a whole lotta sense (course neither does Bane and Croc together )
