Anything I should change? Figure this way I have Outwit and Perplex through Oracle, ICWO, Prob, TK, Ultimates TA.

I'm looking to make a good Statesman tam, too, so any suggeestions you guys have on playing him would be appreciated...

Add a Mystic and or FF member.

Statesman has a lot of Battle Fury. Not sure the Ultimates TA is worth the effort.

Thought about a Mystic but I'd have to dump Hawkeye and I need his as secondary/anit-stealth attacker. Also I plan to bring 3d object for Statesman to use, seeing as how he's got all that Super Strength.

The main thing you need is to play in multi-player games with someone who has a little outwit and a mind-controller. Then it won't be that obvious when they outwit you battle fury so they can mind control Statesmen and let him do his thing

I'd also say get rid of Jean Grey (plus whatever else) and put in Johnny Alpha so you can still have your TK, but pick up the 2000AD TA for more funnage. But that's just me. My Statesman has his butt on backwards:

Make good use of his wildcard, Id have him carry in a high attack batman enemy or Sinister to help his attack and add ICWO that starting 9 then 8 attack on 2nd click is bad.

On a high point team carry in Vet Bane for good ol fun

Lazarus pit could be fun to bring him back on his last click but would be tricky and risky

Ultimates TA is worthless if you're just taking it so that the statesman can have it. Hawkeye isn't a good choice for a team like that, anyway. V Black Widow has stealth and willpower so she's a MUCH better candidate for Oracle's powers. Whether you're taking her for her TA or not she's a great choice for ICwO. As for the statesman you have to do something to increase that pathetic AV. ICwO isn't enough. 95% of the time I'd take an E DEO Agent over Little Sure Shot.

Here's a team to help beef up The Statesman in a 300 pt game:

Use the Batman TA till you can get close enough to get a good hit in. Use 2000 AD against your opponent's big gun. Run the DEO Agent close to Zatanna and Johnny Alpha so that they can both benefit from the PD. Use Mystics once you get into close combat.

Taxi around Bullseye with Statesman using Oracle's perplex or outwit as needed. Before Statesman engages in close combat he blocks for Bullseye and copies PD while he shoots. Dance around your opponent and try to soften him up as much as you can. When you do get into close combat, copy Bullseye's AV and try to set yourself up so that your opponent can't get to Bullseye. No tk will make this team very difficult to play and since you're relying on using Statesman as a taxi you can't really play poor teamwork.
