No, in order to use pounce, you have to have 1 or 2 damange, if you perplex his damage he has 3 now and can not pounce. Everyone asks this, just read the card amd think about it.
I asked that same question about a month ago. That means it is a good one . I think for your money Experienced Venom is still the best Pouncer. With aTker behind him you can get to any point on the board and do damage in one turn. I know a lot of people go with the 40 or the 44 point Spidermans but usually if you hit these Spideys for three or more they are in serious trouble. Vet and experienced Venom is still able to push for another pounce or to get out of dodge. I highly approve of a 300 point team with Exp Venom and Pounce.
ok thanks, however the card does say that the UNMODIFIED damage value must be 1-2. and that considers venom. i just figured that you could modify that all you wanted as long as you were modifing the 1-2 damage.

The Feat doesn't state that the UNMODIFIED damage value must be 1-2. The rules state that the character must be able to meet the prerequisites naturally (in other words that is where you must be able to meet them unmodified) and you must also meet the prerequisites at the time you use the feat. Since the Feat states you must have a damage value of 1-2... then if you modify it to 3, you would not meet the prerequisites to use the Feat.
If I have a Ult.Xmen team-member and using Spiderman's wildcard to copy Ult.Xmen team. This would give me a +1 to attack making it 11-attack value. Then I get perplexed 2 times to have it at 13-attack value. Then have Spiderman pounce. Can I still add the +1 value the card gives(now 14-attack value) cause it is an addition from a Feat card and should not apply to the Rule of Three?
Look my Superman will push to hit your Sarah St.John for 7Damage......(snake-eyes)

No, Feat cards (in general) *do* apply to the Rule of 3.
It's pretty easy to keep straight: if it modifies a value on the dial (whether we are talking about Perplex, Hydra TA, ES/D, etc) it is subject to the Rule of Three. If it modifies Damage Dealt (*not* damage value), it is not subject to the Rule of Three. Things that modify Damage Dealt include Objects and Critical Hits.

Does that mean that I could perplex a RCE figure to the max Rule of Three. The use ICWO to apply +1 more damage?

No. ICWO modifies combat values (which include Damage Value, which is different from Damage Dealt).
RCE provides a +2 modifier to your Damage Value (for Ranged Combat), then Perplex would add an additional +1 bringing to a total of +3. If you used ICWO on your Damage Value, the total would then be +4. As soon as you attack, the Rule of Three would drop the modifier to +3, wasting the ICWO.

Think I got it now. Any Feat card that adds values like the symbols with Fist or Explosion. Is an addition to the total possible value after the Rule of Three. Etc. Haymaker: perplexed 3 times plus heavy object plus Feat card(Haymaker) is 7 total before unmodified value is applied.

Haymaker also is covered under the Rule of 3. As you pointed out, that little symbol on the card (indicating the Damage Value slot) shows a +2 modifier. If you want to Perplex while also using Haymker, only one Perplex to the Damage Value will be effective; anything else is lost during the attack due to the Rule of 3. With a heavy object, the most you could do is Base Damge + 2 (Haymaker) + 1 (Perplex) = Base Damage +3. Then, the Heavy Object modifies Damage Dealt (which is different than Damage Value) by +2 (or +3 if using Soda Machine 3D object), for a grand total of Base Damage +5 (+6).
With Haymaker, you are probably better off using a Perplex on your Attack Value, to negate that -1 penalty.

Ok now I think I got it. I think I just would not admit to myself that Feat Cards are also included in the modified values like perplex and Hydra PD teams.

Glad to help. It can be confusing, with all the similar sounding terms. The best way is just remember that there is a big difference between Damage Value and Damage Dealt.

I guess I was really adamant that Wildcard Spiderman(universe) can get a possible 14-attack because of the Feat cards and the perplex.
Thanx for clearing a fogged up mind blinded in trying to find the cheaps and best way of hitting a Defense 20 figure. etc KC Flash.

Getting back to the original question, a couple of you guys said that if venom perplexes up his damage to 3 he will not be able to pounce. I have no problem with that, but can you then perplex down Hulk's damage to 2 and pounce with him? According to your reasoning you should be able to.
