hey everyone! well i guess the title says it all. i was in my local store a couple of weeks ago and Hellboy is finally out of that dang ocean so we can all be glad that there's something in Indy worth reading again.
Actually.....they did come out, but there was an error with the issue. Diamond has ordered that all stores not put them out for sale and replacement copies are being sent out this week or next. (I can't remember which) Looked like there was something wrong with the cover, as it was mostly black and very hard to see anything.

Well AINT that something! Like I haven't waited long enough!
Guess my comic shop didn't get that memo... The only thing I noticed is the back cover was completely black, with a upc code (I think). I thought that was intentional LOL
It's a good read, and it will be great to have everything back together in the next arc! It was refreshing to get Mike doing art again. Loved it
But what bugs me now is the fact I hadn't even HEARD of "The Third Wish" until this comic, and I'm having a pain tracking down a copy! ARGH! I've got all the other trades and stuff, but this one (along with some other stories) haven't been formally collected yet.
Well I got part 2 today and I've got to say, it really throws out a lot of plot revelations. Specifically it has the origin of Hellboy's hand in it, cool stuff overall.

The origin of the hand and everything was pretty slick...
But, what really left me in awe is how it tied together a bunch of pieces from the big arcs, like Seed of Destruction and Right Hand of Doom even into the recent BPRD Plague of Frogs... and how it was all going to lead to a LOT of giant monsters loosed on the earth. The next arcs are going to be insane. Really looking forward to it
I think Hellboy should return to the BPRD and tell them whats going on thus allowing hi to be featured on future issues of this title. I love the book w/o Hellboy but I don't think he could hurt it.
