my friend and me are going to play a spidey versus syndicate game. I having trouble making a good 400 point anti- spidey team. I wanted then to all have the syndicate ablility but the n i cna't use venom. So i guess what is a good syndicate 400 point team.
The cornerstone of any good Sinister Syndicate team is a Veteran Bullseye. 10 range, 1 damage with RCE, 18 defense from range and the Sin Syn TA for 43 points is a steal. However you're not going to be able to use that 11 AV on everyone at the same time so I like to include a version of Taskmaster as well, his high attack, wildcard TA, and potent mix of support, close combat, and ranged combat make him work very well with other SinSyn team mates.
With 400 points to fill out you're going to have all the Outwit you could ever want (Mysterio, Kraven, Ultimate Doc Ock) and plenty of other support powers too (PC, Mind Control, PW, Barrier) but your going to be lacking in mobility. No front loaded TK and very few figures with move and attack powers tend to slow down your team. Fantastic Forces looks like it might help with the addition of a new Vulture and the Shocker though, adding some more Charge and Running Shot to the team.
So here's my suggestion...
V Bullseye /w Trick Shot 63
R Mysterio 44
V Calypso 46
V Doctor Octopus 61 (Ultimates)
R Taskmaster 39
V Electro /w Armor Piercing 65
E Hobgoblin 39 (Universe Starter)
E Vulture 41 (Fantastic Forces)
Total: 398
Alternatively, you can swap out Mysterio or Calypso for an Experienced Blizzard if you want some more range, Pulse Wave, or Barrier.
Or you could go old school and play the original Sinister Six! You might not win everytime with it, but it looks fun to play and has a good chance to net you fellowship too
R Mysterio /w Taunt 59
E Doctor Octopus /w Pounce and Passenger 71 (Clobbering Time)
V Electro /w Armor Piercing 65
E Sandman 79
E Vulture 41 (Fantastic Forces)
E Kraven /w Stunning Blow 82
And finally, the perfect bystander to sacrifice for your teams safety...

Bystander Token Gwen Stacy 3
Total: 400 points exactly
I miscalculated. Experienced Ct Doc Ock should be 64 points instead of 71. So with 7 more points you could drop Gwen Stacy for 3 more and add a Haymaker to E Vulture for a total of 400 points.
This 400 point Anti-Spidey Team has worked for me:
Vet Bullseye 43 pt. (of course) w/ Trick Shot 20 pt.
Exp Doc Oct 44pt. clobberin' (leadership and Willpower)
Vet Electro 55pt. (flyer, poison and 4 damage!!)
Exp Vulture 20pt. (flyer)
Exp Rhino 108pt. (Charge, SS and Close Expert)
Vet Mysterio 68pt. (outwit)
Total 358
The rest are various feats and bystanders.
What would be a good spiderman team to go against the sinister syndicate? I've never seen any of his team ups, but I have the FF spiderman so I imagine he teamed up with them aty some point. Also, I knew he's worked with the xmen once or twice.
Here's another question, has he ever worked with Lizard? I know he's friends with Dr COnnors, so I was wondering if Connors was ever able to retain his consciousness when turning into the lizard.
A decent Spidey Team my opponent has used is:
Vet Cloak 75 pt. (12 move, poison and exploit weakness!!)
Vet Dagger 69 pt. (running shot, psychic blast and 3 damage)
Vet Sandman 106pt. (plasticity and invulnerability)
Exp Firestar 55 pt. (poison and 2 damage with range combat expert)
Vet Silver Sable 53 pt. (11 attack, leadership and mastermind)
Exp Black Cat 32 pt. (probability control)
Total : 390
the remainding 10 pts. is to go on two Flash Bystander tokens(to take some unwanted damage!)

Actually Fantastic Forces Spiderman hasn't teamed up with anyone made into Heroclix yet. This is Spiderman 2099. You're much better off using either Expericenced Universe Starter Spiderman, Veteran Critical Mass Spiderman, or REV Ultimates Spiderman.

This is a very, very poor team. You have 6 wildcards on this team AND NO OTHER TEAM ABILITIES TO COPY!!! You've just wasted a ton of points on an unuseable TA.
So how about this for a Spiderman team...
E Universe Starter Spiderman /w Pounce 55
R Iceman 26
V Firestar /w Thunderbolts, Armor Piercing 79
V Cloak /w Armor Piercing and Passenger (or Double Time) 80
V Dagger 69
E Black Cat 32
LE Sue Storm /w F4 ATA 49
And with the final 10 points you can add either an Experienced Paramedic, upgrade Iceman to the Experienced, or add a Haymaker on Spiderman.
Total: 400
Lots of options here. You get shared Defense from Sue to all you wildcards, V Firestar can give you any TA you want with the Thunderbolts card, and Iceman's X-Men TA can help with some healing if needed. And if you're opposed to using LE Sue Storm you can drop Passenger and/or Double Time from Cloak and add the Veteran Daredevil from Infinity Challenge or Veteran Silver Sable.
I thought he was looking for a team that Only consisted of Spider Man Team Members and no one else!(when i reread the message....what was i thinking??) I am also pretty sure that he means the Fantastic Four Spiderman version from MM not the 2099 version from Fantastic Forces....if i were choosing the team i would pickthat could consist of Fantastic Four,X-men and Spiderman Team)
E starter spidey 40pt. haymaker 10 pt.
V Silver Sable 53 pt.
E Black Cat 32pt.
V Pyslocke 45 pt. (for enhancement)
V Storm (XP) 52 pt.
V Dagger 69 pt.
V Torch 72 pt.
E Firestar 53 pt.
Total 372
The rest would go to bystanders or possibly Trick Shot to either Storm or Torch. A long range team!!
Sorry, I did indeed mean the MM spidy with the FF TA. The spidy TA isn't necessary in each character as long as they fit the theme. When he was working with the FF were all the regular characters part of the team or were a few missing? I heard at some point spidy and Hulk filled in for two of the others.
To be honest i was wondering that myself! When i received the MM Spidey with the FF TA i tried to think back to my comic days and went completely blank....i've got a #@$%load of spidey comics and i can't think when he teamed up with any FF members!! Maybe if i had a ^$@&load of Fantastic Four comics i could tell you!!
OK, if your going to use Experienced Mutant Mayhem Spidey, then why not go all out?
E Spiderman 97 (Mutant Mayhem)
E Mr. Fantastic 62 (Fantastic Forces)
E Thing 110 /w Unstoppable (Fantastic Forces)
E Human Torch 81 (Fantastic Forces)
E Invisible Girl 49 (Fantastic Forces)
Fantastic Forces ATA
Total: 399
Although if you're not fortunate enough to own LE Sue Storm from Fantastic Forces you can still use this team with a few minor modifications, but it will be a restricted team...
E Spiderman 97 (Mutant Mayhem)
E Mr. Fantastic 62 (Fantastic Forces)
E Thing 110 /w Unstoppable (Fantastic Forces)
V Human Torch 73 (Clobbering Time)
E Invisible Girl 57 (Clobbering Time) (19 Defensive Value too)
Fantastic Forces ATA
Total: 399
Want to go for 500 points? Lets start adding more Feats.
E Spiderman /w Pounce 112 (Mutant Mayhem)
E Mr. Fantastic /w Brilliant Tactician 82 (Fantastic Forces)
E Thing 135 /w Unstoppable, Fortitude (Fantastic Forces)
E Human Torch /w Armor Piercing 91 (Fantastic Forces)
E Invisible Girl 49 (Fantastic Forces)
R Lockjaw /w Double-Time 29 (Fantastic Forces)
BT Franklin Richards 2
Fantastic Forces ATA 0
Total: 500 points
Don't under-estimate Flanklin Richards (or an pog for that matter). I played a Fantastic Four team vs. Nimrod last week and good ole Franklin kept Mr. Cotton Candy pinned down for 8 consecutive turns whilst the rest of the team took turns taking pot shots at the great mutant hunter. Although when he finally did break away he all but decimated me because he only had to PW (in this case Nova Blast) against each figures printed Defensive Value (no FF ATA against PW).
I personally think MM Spidey kinda bites for his points....i mean 97 points!! Other than the two extra clicks of life with outwit and willpower isn't he pretty much the same as the 40 point universe spidey? When i choose Spidey in a game i want to win he's the figure i choose!!
I am not fortunate enough to own any Fantastic Forces Figures(let alone Sue Storm LE) and i am also severely lacking in the Feats/Pogs but i am hopeing to win two full sets of FF cards on ebay(PLEASE OHHH PLEASE)
see ya
Do you trade? I am new here and am having trouble finding anyone to trade some old nons(some good ones too-Mr. Fantastic RV ect...) for some FF nons..

There is quite a bit different between the two. MM Spidey starts with Incap instead if Super Strength and has a 4 range with 2 targets. He also has a very deep dial so feel free to either push him or keep Pouncing with him (especially on his Super Strength clicks. Plus on his last 2 clicks his AV spikes back up from a 7 to an 8 and 9, along with Flurry, Willpower, and Outwit he is still capable of dealing some serious damage.
Add to that a 19 Defense that never drops and you have a very strong attack piece who bring both stong ranged combat amd close combat options to the table.
Now don't get me wrong, I like universe Spiderman too. But he always seems to just work as a Fire-and-Forget piece (especially with Pounce). He's able to get that first 5 or 6 damage hit in but after that he's generally done unless you heal gim up.
