I have read several places that people are excited for the new Spider-man 2099 because you can now can pounce/BCF (which is something if it is legal you could have done with Lizard or Carnage)...
But I am under the impression that:
Give this character a POWER ACTION ; it moves up to its speed value and makes a CLOSE COMBAT ATTACK as a free action
and
When you give this character a CLOSE COMBAT ACTION , if
the attack succeeds, roll one six-sided die. The result of the die roll becomes this character’s damage value.
do not mix at all...one a CC attack and the other a CC action.
Now I would LOVE to combine these...but is it legal?
and there i was just yesterday asking the same question in my 400 pt. team? thread but the awnser i received was different !!.......however after reading this Thread i think "Psylockelover" is right!!
guys, its clear you can charge and use B/C/F because it explains it pretty much in the little card rule things that you get with starter kits that explain the super powers.
Charge says to half your characters move speed. and then it says
'...and then make a close combat attack if he had been given a CLOSE COMBAT ACTION...'
now, B/C/F says this.
'Give this character a close combat action...'
so, wouldnt that close combat action be that had been given with charge. Would you choose a normal attack or B/C/F? ... Its optional apparntly.
To me I'd say you're allowed to rush in and stab the fella!

Yes, you are correct. You *can* Charge and use BCF. However, the question was about Pounce and BCF... which is not a useable combination for all the reasons listed above.
