say i have v taskmaster (wildcard) with brilliant tactician and a bunch of avengers and the thunderbolts feat.

can i have him wildcard avengers TA, then use thunderbolts to make them ALL mystics (for example) then use BT on everyone?

Yes, you could do that.

But the order you listed them in is wrong. You HAVE to declare Thunderbolts before the game actually atrts so you choose Mystics. Then you can WC their alt-TA with Taskmaster to BT them.
