Hallo.

Lockjaw's a transporter right. Can he make an attack whilst transporting, like a close combat attack seeing as he's got no range ?

I just read teh FAQ and it states a transporter can attack someone even if they're adjacent ? Or ar my eyes deceiving me ?

He can do that. Just remember he's using a move action, so no Phasing to ignore terrain while doing the M/A option.

They can attack someone, but in order to use the move-attack transporter option, if they START out adjacent to someone, they MUST roll break-away.

If they start out adjacent to someone they need to roll breakaway from, then they may not use the move-attack option.
