For details of the series, and to join the fun, come over to the Ultimate Marvel vs. DC thread Also note that Story posts will be put in that thread rather than here, so if you enjoy watching good story matches, go subscribe to that thread.

I'm just setting up my own link to this thread. And please feel free to make suggestions once the game is up and running!

Honey Roy Palmer: What the hell is that supposed to mean?
I rolled a 5+1=6. Just under average. I'm expecting you to take this one DM.
If anyone is interested, I will be following these games on an Excel Spreadsheet Map. Once we decide on which map I will fill in the borders for blocking terrain and probably just color code the hindering terrain (real sketchy but enough to play by). If anyone wants a copy just pm me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you a copy. I don't know how closely anybody wants to be involved!

Can you please provide me a link to the maps on Creation Matrix? I am really not familiar with that site.

That map works for me, I already made a mock up of it for Excel. I only have one question: P22-R22 (not the bushes but the grass) - Is that meant to be Hindering Terrain or just Clear? Looks like grass to me!
Whatever it turns out to be, I choose the bottom half of the board (Rows W & X).
Good Luck to you as well DM!

The P22-R22 is hindering.......either a bench or an outomin(sp?) I think.
I should be able to set up and get this started tomorrow........I was ready to go sooners but Batman said I should hold off...........mind games and all.
Yeah, that's it. It's all part of his plan.

I made a promise to Matt Murdock to wear his mask....I've fought this war in his place.....And I'll continue to do so.
But I haven't forgotten who I am...and soon it will be time to carry my own burdens again.

So I was just informed by my opponent that apparently when one wins INT that means first turn is theirs.
While his words confused me as only an ever deapening mystery echoing the mystery of creation itself could. I will move now. And as a far smarter man than myself said recently...............'I really don't want to talk about it'.
Er, remind me how many actions are we going with(12?).
=============================================
Go ahead and take three more. I probably won't make my first turn until tomorrow anyway.
I sent you the spreadsheet/map. All you have to do is delete the person and put them in the new square that you moved them to.
For some reason HCRealms did not send me your move???? Oh well!

Also, regarding the spreadsheet/map. If anyone wants it (lurkers and those interested in the Survival Portion of the match) I will send it to you. Just PM me your e-mail address and I will send it out to you. I do the maps in Excel and they are very flexible and easy to manipulate.

I've always run tournaments that way, since it balances things better instead of weighing things too much in favour of the initiative winner. So the pros of winning initiative are:
- Choice of map (which is especially important with the size of these games)
- More heavy objects
And the cons are:
- Have to move first (which can be an advantage at times, but generally isn't)
- Opponent chooses side of the map they want.
Seems a lot fairer than the other way to me.
