Ok, hopefully these questions are tougher for me then you guys
Clarifications:
1) Can you outwit stealth? I have heard no because to outwit you need line of fire and under stleath, it says that any LOF to this character is treated as if it goes through blocking terrain.
2) When you outwit invulnerability on a character and you attack them and they lose invulnerability and it turns to toughness, was only invulnerability outwitted or is toughness outwitted as well. I'm guessing its the power and not the slot
3) When you MC an opposing fig, and succeed in the Mind Control, and you roll to attack another opposing fig and roll a critical miss, who takes the damage?
4) If you Mind control 2 ppl and succeed and their point values are 56 and say 60, would you take 1 click of damage for going over 100 pts? and can you use the two Mind controled ppl to attack each other or would they be considered friendly and therefore wouldn't be allowed to.
Ok and my last couple of questions pertain to the new alternate Fantastic Four ability
5) Lets say you have the E Mr. Fantastic and the v Invisible woman. Mr. Fantastic borrows Invisible woman's defense, what happens when an opposing perplexer perplexes Mr. Fantastics defense down? Can you do this or once you do he just instantly borrows invisible woman's defense again.
6) And say the opposite, can someone perplex invisible woman's defense down to make everyone's defense go down? (This of course, assuming that you can perplex a stealth character, which you can't I assume per the outwitting stealth rule questioned above)
7) In order to use a Feat Card on a Character does that character need to meet the prerequisites before the game starts? For example: Lets say I want to try and make a team based on invisible woman's 19 defense and the FF feat card. Since Wild Card TA's aren't FF before the game starts, can I use the Feat Card for a Wild Card?
8) Same question regarding the thunderbolts/ Avenger TA. Since you have to declare the new TA for the avengers once the game starts, do they not get the benefit of the Fantastic Four Feat card even if you have it on invsible woman and make the avengers Fantastic Four TA?
Hypethetical:
HS: if I amd doing a HS 2 option and roll 7 times hitting each time and miss on the eighth with a critical miss but my 1st, 6th, and 7th hits are critical hits and the first hit was with a normal large object and the person I attacked had invulnerable, what would my damage be?
My guess is: 1st= 1(base) + 2(ho) + 1(ch) = 4
2nd = 1(base) = 1
3rd = 1(base) =1
4th = 1 (base) = 1
5th = 1 (base) = 1
6th = 1 (base) + 1(ch) = 2
7th = 1 (base) + 1 (ch) = 2
8th = crit miss = 1 damage to me
So it would be 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 0 (rule of 3) + 1 (critical hit) + 1 (critical hit)
for a total of 9 damage and then minus the 2 for invulnerable
so he takes 7 damage????

the answer is no, for the exact above stated reason.

again, you're right for the exact reason. only invulnerability would be outwitted

the mind controlled figure

1 clix of damage, the points total are added. both mind controlled figures are considered friendly and cannot attack

it would be preplexed down.

wild cards can copy player using the FF team ability

The Thunderbolts team ability can not be used for the New FF alt team ability.
You can actually outwit stealth if you have someone who can ignore hindering terrain for lines of fire (ie, Ultimates or Superman TA). You pretty much can do this by giving any Ultimate or Superman TA Outwit via ICWO, or have a wildcard outwitter such as Brainiac 5 or Lobster Johnson copy Ultimates or Superman TA.
In regards to perplexing down Sue's defense to lower everyone else's defense, I don't believe that works. If I remember correctly, defend (and JSA, etc.) all use unmodified defenses, meaning you can't ICWO up and share it, but you also can't perplex it down and have that carried over to the people getting the defense.

my bad, i didn't read the part about making everyone else's defense.
no you could not make the rest of the FF defense down. it's unmodified defense as is stated by esper.
both mind controlled figures are considered friendly and cannot attack
This is only partially correct. As soon as a Mind Controlled fig has completed its Mind Control Action, it immediately reverts to your opponents control and is no longer friendly. So, if you Mindcontrol characters A and B and give A its action first, A cannot attack B. However, when you give B its action once A has completed its action B is free to attack A.

Thanks for the help
Very accurate description. You are correct... this would deal 9 clicks of damage, which would be reduced to 7 if the target has Invulnerability. There is no base damage on the 5th, 6th and 7th hits due to the Rule of 3, but as long as you continue to hit (5th hit), you can continue to roll for critical hits (6th and 7th hits) which add to the damage dealt. Excellent explanation!
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
This is actually incorrect. Mr. Fantastic would not actually share the DV on Invisible Woman until the attack takes place, and since Perplex can not be used in the middle of an action, you'd have to Perplex down Fantastic's DV *before* the attack. Once the attack occurs, Fantastic's DV is the Sue's unmodified 19 (or whatever other value she has at the time).
This is the same reason you can't *increase* your shared FF DV with ICWO. ICWO occurs during whatever action you use to activate the +1 and the +1 modifies the *current* DV. Since that figure is not being attacked, the DV modified is whatever DV Torch or Fantastic or whomever actually has on their dial at that time. Later, when someone attacks that figure during your opponent's turn, alternate FF TA activates, and the modified DV is replaced completely with Sue's DV.

From the Marvel FAQ:
Fantastic Four
• Replace the last line with: “Any member of this team may replace its defense value with the unmodified defense value of any other member.”

Correct. For a little further clarity, here's the Marvel FAQ:
Characters assigned the Thunderbolts feat may not choose a team ability that is granted by a feat card when choosing a team ability.
Since Mr. F only borrows IW's Defense when he is attacked, Perplexing his Defense down would have been done at some point prior. So once the attack is declared and ATA FF is used, his lowered Defense would be replaced with IW's unmodified Defense.

Okay, Esper got that one.

The damage value from option 2 would be FOUR because of three successful hits (1+3). DV is then turned into damage dealt, and you would add 2 for the heavy and 3 for three critical hits!!! For a total damage dealt of NINE. The target would take SEVEN damage and be Knocked Back unless it had Charge on the dial before the attack or is otherwise immune to KB.
well, i corrected myself on one of them, so i only missed on quetion.
not too bad since i'm just a beginner judge

Answering questions on this forum is great for that, actually. Sure, you put yourself out there for correction; I get a little embarassed sometimes when I'm wrong. But you learn best from doing, IMO.
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.
