In Turf War 1 & 2, both villain teams soundly trounced the heroes. Now, their deal to split the crime-lord-ship (?) of the US East and West has gone sour, apparently, and as so often happens they find themselves unable to work together.

"Apparently, San Francisco wasn't enough for him," the Kingpin stated simply.

"I'm not surprised," the Leader said, sipping his champagne. "These sorcerous types always seem to have an agenda that involves collapsing the dimensional barriers and unleashing hordes of demons. They can never settle for simple temporal power. They always need to overreach themselves, which is always their undoing."

"What'd he say?" Scorpion asked Atlas, who just shrugged in reply.

"Sorceror or not, he bleeds like any other man," Lady Deathstroke said.

"Yessss," the Lizard agreed.

Well well---I did that well??? Color me surprised. With all of this outwit I'm tempted to use the easy map Marvel 2. Instead I'll do DC B.

The West coast villains fly onward towards New York.

"Can't wait to kick some sorry butt," Terra says.

"And there sure is a lot of that in that group, isn't there?" Green Goblin says. The both laugh hard.

"It is important not to underestimate them. Unlike the heroes we've just faced, they know us well. We've lost any element of surprise," analyzes the Mad Thinker.

Terra and Green Goblin look at each other. They chuckle like school children, "Yeah, whatever," says Terra.

Baron Mordo holds his hands to his temples, "Your words are truer than you know, Thinker. I've a clear mental imsge---they are onto us. They plan on hitting us with a sneak attack when we pass through Chicago."

Deathstroke is the first to speak, "Then we need to meet them in Chicago and regain that element of surprise."

And so it begins. The Vulture, as blood-craving as his namesake swoops down upon an unsuspecting Atlas and knocks him over.

Be brutally tears into the giant's body and Atlas does all he can to block further wounds.

Even Anaconda turns her head at all the blood.

"Geez, the old guy don't play around," Terra notes.

The Vulture stands triumphant. It's a rare and heedy feeling for him and he basks in it.

And already it begins...Why do I get the feeling that this game is where you're going to take some serious revenge for those Team-Up games that have been going my way?

"Honestly, you're being beaten by the Vulture?" Lady Deathstrike said. "That's just said. You're never going to live that down. The Masters of Evil will revoke your lifetime membership."

"Indeed," the Leader agreed. "It seems we're witnessing natural selection at work. If you cannot defend yourself against the Vulture, perhaps you have no place on this squad."

"Yeah?" Altas spat. "You weren't saying that when I took down half the heroes single-handed in Boston."

"Single-handed?" Anaconda shouted down from the roof. "Excuse me?"

OK Mordo perplexes Prometheus range to 9. Prometheus will attack Abomination after he outwits his invulnerability. Needs 4, rolls 5. Carppy, but enough. 3 to Abomination.

Since Vulture is about to become someone's dinner why not push him?. First to break away gets 4. Then he'll move to K12 to attack Lady Deathstrike. Needs 6, rolls 8. BCF is 4. Sweet. 3 to her, 1 to Vulture.

Atlas grabs Vulture by his legs and Vulture pushes off from the titans' grip.

"Hey come back, I've got a score to finish with you!" Atlas yells.

The Vulture says nothing instead swooping down on a hidden Lady Deathstrike and clawing her as well. Her instinctive reaction was to claw back and Vulture felt the brunt of it.

"Curse you, little man, you'll ruin everything!" she yells.

"This is my chance to show you idiots once and for all I'm no 'little man'," squeals the Vulture with delight.

"Gotta hand it to the guy, he knows how to work it," Prometheus says delivering a high voltage bomb to the Abomination whom, despite all his strength, could not evade it.

Deathstroke has Toughness, so Vulture's damage is reduced by 1, but 3 is still nothing to sneeze at. Also minor positioning. Deathstroke was in L10, so Vulture'd have to be in K11 to attack her, not K12. (and you still show him in O10)

"Idiots!" the Leader ranted. "They're tearing us apart! What are you doing standing around? Get them!"

The Serpent Society moved en masse to swarm Deathstroke. The Abomination and Atlas apparently decided it seemed a good plan and moved to join them. Scorpion alone went off in the other direction, taking to the rooftops for a better view of his targets.
