“So what you’re saying is,” Hawkman said, “You lost your toys and need us to find them?”
“Not exactly,” Atom sighed. It was difficult for him, since he felt so responsible for the loss of his white-dwarf research and the danger it now posed. Dangerous enough that the Justice League had requested a meeting at the brownstone headquarters of the Justice Society.
“It was stolen,” J’Onn J’Onzz finished. “Stolen by someone with a pencheant for ripping doors off of hinges. We thought that perhaps you could see the commonality in our troubles.”
“Just like Garrick Labs,” Jay Garrick, the first Flash said.
“Exactly, Jay,” Barry Allen, the current Flash, nodded. “I was examining the forensic evidence of both cases, and they match up exactly. Down to the point where I’m sure it was the same man at both burglaries.”
“We caught Solomon Grundy in the act,” Hawkman said, drawing the conversation back to the point. “And though he escaped, we are currently tracking this new Injustice Society and have nearly found them.”
“And we are here to offer our aid,” Wonder Woman said, ever the diplomat. “We now face a common enemy, and should work together to face it. Whomever employed Grundy has been selling the stolen technology to the cult of Kobra—“
“Infidels,” Black Adam spat. “May they be cursed and banished for the blood of my people they have shed. A plague on my homeland, I gladly war with those zealots.”
“We have already captured and contained the leaked equipment and taken many Kobra agents for interrogation. They have told us nothing we didn’t know, but while they are currently out of the picture, there is still the source of the stolen goods to consider. That is why we seek your help, and that is why we offer ours to your fight.”
“Fine, Diana,” Hawkman said. “If we’re after the same enemy, we may as well pool our resources. Before you arrived, Starman and the Shade were bringing us new intel on the Injustice Society’s whereabouts. Jack?”
“Yeah,” Jack Knight said, sitting up at the sound of his name. “So, me and Shade were following the trail of the other Shade’s shadow-force.”
“Not precicely, Jack,” Shade corrected in his smooth British accent from his place in the shadows at the rear of the room. “While my doppelganger uses powers near enough to mine for me to track, they are different in source. Like a facsimile of sorts. If it was truly the same shadow-matter, I could have followed the trail much more quickly.”
“Right, whatever, so anyway we found them. We think. There’s a building we tracked the trail to, but it was too well defended for us to crack it open alone.”
“But you’re sure that’s where they are?” Hawkgirl asked.
“We got ‘em, Kendra,” Jack smiled. “No question.”
“Then we move on that location immediately,” Hawkman said, ending the meeting. “Dr. Fate can’t accompany us – something to do with a magical disturbance he had to keep an eye on. The rest of us can form up in two teams. I’ll lead the Society on one side, and Diana can take the League in on the other.”
“Happily, Carter,” Wonder Woman nodded, shaking his hand. “We can be the opening strike – the League tends to draw attention. After we hit the front door, your team can come from the rear and use surprise as your opening.”
“Great,” Barry said. “J’Onn – contact Arrow and Booster and let them know to get ready for the fight.”
“That may be a problem,” the Martian Manhunter said. He had fallen out of the conversation and was holding a hand to his head. “They are currently in Coast City and require immediate aid.”
“What?” Atom said with surprise. “But we’ve got to—“
“Everyone ready?” Hawkman asked as the JSA was about to bust into the large building that sheltered the Injustice Society. The guards had been equipped with LexCorp security gear, which had been a surprise, but were dispatched easily enough.
”Is anybody else curious why Luthor is funding supervillains?” Jack asked, stepping over the bodies and adjusting his goggles.
“We can worry about beurocrats later,” Black Adam said flatly. “Our business is with wickedness, this night. The subtle evils of the politics supporting them will wait until this threat is dealt with.”
“Indeed,” Shade nodded. “Eyes on the prize, young mister Knight.”
“Just saying…”
“Enough,” Hawkman said. “We blow the doors on my mark. Ready Jack?”
“And waiting.”
“Go!” Light burst from Starman’s cosmic staff and melted clean through the main doors of the building’s outer walls. The team flew in and set about dismantling the defenses and security guards with little trouble. Wading through teams of LexCorp security suits, they finally came to the main warehouse and burst through the massive doors.
Bright lights blinded them as the room lit up. Stopping short, the heroes heard the sound of a man clapping. As their eyes adjusted, they saw The Shade, Solomon Grundy, Huntress and Sportsman standing there as if they were waiting for them. Behind them, the rest of the Injustice Society sat on some crates; two marked as property of Garrick Labs and Star Labs and a third which presumably held the Atoms equipment in it. A man they didn’t recognize stood tall atop another crate in the rear. He wore dark leather armor and a flowing white cape with a high-tech helmet whose visor resembled a knight’s.
“I don’t know how he does it… that man is a mastermind. The JSA arrive exactly when he said they would. I just had to see it with my own eyes.” Prometheus said. “Sadly, however, I’m only here as a simple freight-hauler. You four have fun… Bye-bye!” he waved to the JSA as he pressed a button on his belt and suddenly Promethues vanished in a halo of bright light – along with the crates and the Injustice Society members sitting on them. Sportsman, Huntress, Grundy and Shade remained, broad, evil smiles on their faces.
“Well… it seems our game is up,” The Sportsman said.
“Oh well,” the faux Shade said, tipping his hat in an eerily familiar manner. “All good things must come to an end.” Suddenly, he struck the ground with his cane and it burst to life. Shadows flew out from its tip at the floor and struck at the JSA. Starman flew forward, putting up a shield with his staff, but the shadow-creatures broke through and hurled him into a wall.
“That power!” the JSA’s Shade said as he used his own shadow-force to catch the unconscious Starman and lower him to the ground. “It’s nothing I can control – a different source entirely! I had thought if we faced I would simply drain his shadow from him and be done with it, but now… What are these fellows’ secrets?”
“We shall ask their ghosts,” growled Black Adam. “To arms!”

Sorry for the disappearing act - I was watching Lost. They should have Evangeline Lilly crawling through air ducts in a tank top more often.

Looks fine. I cleaned it up a little & added the number of clicks your figures have. Also - you forgot to place your objects (2 heavies & a light). You can do so @ the beginning of your next turn.
