What is the official ruling on using Enhancement with Energy Explosion? I've been told that you cannot use these powers together anymore...is this true?
This will settle an ongoing debate. I am pretty certain you can't, but our resident cheeseballs think you can.
Thanks in advance.

EE was the only thing enhancement was good for. For every other thing perplex was better. What is the point of EE now. Being able to give the bonus to more than one person if you can get them all next to them. LAME

That's really not true at all. Enhancement is better than Perplex in some situations. And EE is still useful especially w/ Armor Piercing. You just can't kill half of someone's team w/ one shot now... which I think is a good thing. You can still do multiple clix of damage you just can't do 9 clix at a time or something stupid like that.

Enhancement is better if you're making multiple ranged attacks at a time. You can only perplex one figure a turn, whereas you have no limit (other than how many spaces around the piece) to how many figures you can enhance in a turn.
I appreciate all the feedback...I do, however, think EE and Enhancement is totally cheesy. Why should splash damage do more damage in some instances than the actual damage dealt to the target?!

Yah that sucks. I wonder if they will ever change that.
I don't see why not. After all, here's the history of EE&E:
(1) With the Infinity Challenge/Hypertime rules, EE&E worked.
(2) With Indyclix rules, EE&E no longer worked.
(3) With Universe rules, EE&E worked again.
(4) With Icons rules, EE&E no longer works.
I think we just have to wait for the next set of rules in the next base set (coming in a year), and the rules will probably keep flip=flopping, if Wizkids is at all consistent.

In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Actually #2 was EE&E worked, but slightly different to what it did before so that the splash didn't get stupid high. Still worked though, from the begining.
