can you replace defenses so that you can have a lower defense for a support roll?
what if you have a jsa fig with 13 defense adjacent to your V power girl, can you borrow that 13d for a better support chance?

That is perfectly legal. It's not allow to modify stats for a Support roll, but using replacement values is OK. Can be fun with a fig like E Dr Strange from Infinity Challenge, who has the Defenders TA and a 12 Defense when he reaches his support clicks...

Or in unrestricted events, use Alicia Masters with your Alt Fantastic Four team, and use her 10 defense to heal Sue back up.

Well, IC strange is retired, so he's also only availible in restricted...
