I don't know if anyone has seen this, but it appears that the team will undergo it' first roster change in this issue, according to the solicitaion up on the Marvel site for Jan.

It says something to the effect of, some will stay, some will go, and some former members will come back.

Speculations?

I think this is where Spidey and Wolverine jump off the bandwagon.
With the events of this week, could Jessica be off the team also (just in time for her upcoming mini and then her ongoing)?
I'm guessing Shulkie returns with maybe Vision being rebuilt.

Vision's more or less been re-created in Young Avengers as a new entity (at least that's what they said in She-Hulk #1). Beyond that, I'm sure Hawkeye will be back.

I hope I'm not disappointed. I've loved the New Avengers so far. I wouldn't mind Wolverine leaving the team at all, but I want Spidey to stay on the team, I like him being there. Cap and Iron Man have to stay on the team, IMO, or it won't feel like Avengers at all. I could see Jessica leaving. I could see Spidey and Wolverine both leaving. I think Sentry will stay. I'm not sure about Luke Cage, and maybe the new character won't be staying on the team after this story arc.

I think one reason I want Spidey to stay is because he's been funny in New Avengers and I really enjoy that. He's been funny in some of his own books, but he shows it more in New Avengers at the moment, in my opinion. Plus I really love Spider-man.

The more I think about it, Wolverine should leave the team. I don't hate that he's on it (in fact, I'd love it if he left the X-men to be strictly on the Avengers for a while) but some people don't like Wolvie there and I understand there point of view. He is in a lot of books.

As for returning members, I'm not sure who I'm looking forward to seeing return. Though I'd love Thor to return, I think the Sentry would have to leave for that to happen. And I don't think the team should revert to being too similar to the old Avengers so soon.

If Thor did come back with the Sentry still around, you don't think an old
school hero fight would be on the cards?
I'm not sure they could pass up the chance of a Thor vs NotSuperman in that situation.

Is #15 the Frank Cho arc?

Vision is with the Young Avengers, he won't be coming back, at least not yet.

I think it will be quite sometime before we see Thor make his return. Mark Millar was tabbed to do a series (not sure if it was a mini or ongoing), which he was going to use to bring goldilocks back. But for some reason, after he agreed to do it, he had an opportunity to do Ult FF, and put the project on the back burner.

That leads me to believe that Sentry will be on the Avengers for quite sometime, and Thor won't be back.

If Frank Cho is involved then my guess would be:

Luke Cage, Iron Man, Cap., Spidey, Wolvie, and Sentry would be leaving

replaced by ...

She-Hulk, Warbird, Black Widow, Storm, Valkyrie, and Firestar

all with enhanced power.

If Thor comes back at even half the power he had at the end, he'd kick the snot out of Sentry. I doubt they'd do that to the new kid on the block.

Vision deffinetly won't be in the New Avengers, he was remade using Iron Lad armour. He has NO memory of the Avengers so he will probably become a Young Avenger.

AVENGERS ULTIMATE GUIDE HC - Rumor has it that this guide book to everything Avenger, tells the identity of none other than New Avengers mystery character, Ronin! *Update* I just saw the thing about Ronin and it's true. And it's dumb.

I haven't read it myself, so I couldn't tell you, maybe one of you all can find a copy and give the rest of us the spoiler (hint hint)

Wow, that would be awfully early to shake up the roster. We've seen all this promotional art, covers, etc, with the current line-up (including images of Ronin over a year after his/her appearance in the book), and now we only get that line-up for two or three issues???

The cover to New Avengers 16 has Cap, Wolverine, Ironman, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Spider-Woman and Ronin on the cover, the only team member not on the cover is Sentry, could he be the only one leaving? Maybe Bendis and/or the higher ups at Marvel didn't like having someone that powerful on the team - if he can handle pretty much everyone on his own how good is he to have on a team? Look at the current run, if he was in Japan with the rest of the team would all the Hand Ninja's in the world pose even a little threat?

Of course this artwork doesn't MEAN anything, but it might be a hint.
