Things had been quiet since the Loki affair, so the team was happy to hear the alarm go off.

Hank checked the computer, “It’s Stark Headquarters, they’ve reported a break in, several people have been hurt.”

“Tony is in Tokyo supervising that big merger, which means Iron Pants isn’t available to take care of this,” added Clint.

“Well we’re sitting in the man’s house eating his food, I say we take care of it,” said Simon.

“Anything to relieve this boredom Simon,” said Wanda with a smile.

“If I ever want a diversion I know where to come, you people are terrible thieves,” mocked the Spymaster.

“I do not steal, I destroy the sick creations of these capitalist pigs,” preached the Ghost, “besides I could have just phased us in if not for him”

The man in question turned, servos in his over-sized armored suit whirring. “He is going to put his metal foot up your butt if you flap your lips again. I only came here for a crack at Stark’s pet bodyguard, where is he?”

There was a crash as a man jumped through the window to stand in front of them. “He’s not home, will we do?” asked Simon. The rest of the Avengers West Coast entered through the hole he’d created.

“No you won’t,” said the voice from within the armored suit, “but maybe once you’re out of the picture Iron Man will show his cowardly face. Stark owes me big time, and it’s time to collect.”

Before Wonder Man could ask what he meant the villains attacked.

Yeah I'm not so familiar with the Map either, might need to watch for my mistakes, i don't have this map at home so i'm playin off the screen, as for my characters i've been dieing to use some of them. Spymaster is pretty deadly, Ghost is annoying. Firebrand... um flies. Move coming.

Wonder Man picked up a large piece of lab equipment and strode confidently into the interior of the Stark facility. "I don't know what sort of gripe you might have with Mr Stark, but you'll find that Iron Man is not his only friend. If you surrender peaceably, i'm sure Mr Stark will see to it that his attorneys are lenient with you at your day in court."

Hawkeye rolled his eyes at Wonder Man's straightforwardness. It almost didn;t jive with the story Simon had told of how he had become so powerful. At the same time, Hawkeye was himself a one-time criminal who knew very well that Tony Stark could be magnanimous. Hawkeye notched an arrow and advanced.

[i don't know about you, but it's much more enjoyable for me when i have the real figures and the map and can set up the game on this big table. For this reason, i'm almost tempted to draw this game out and play super-slowly -- until the Armor Wars figs arrive in 13 days and i can set them up instead of the substitute figs i'm using now... ;-) ]

Hmm.... I always overextend on these maps without tokens.

Oddly I perfer creationmatrix map to the big maps, saves a lot of space for me being cramped in where i live.

Ant-Man needed a little more time to summon his six-legged friends. It was not easy for them to gather quickly in this otherwise-insect-free facility. Soon, they would rally around their human compatriot and assist him as well as they could.

Also, Scarlet Witch will use Probability Control on the first successful attack, to which she has Line of Fire.

"Now Comrades!" The ghost said with a grunt as he grabbed the man in gears phased underneath the floor into the basement and then phased up with the mysteryman right next to the Scarlet witch! It took a lot out of the Ghost but it was worth it.

Wonder Man reacted fast to prepare to save Wanda but a barrier of ice rose up between him and the large man leaving only the pale frame of Ghost and Wanda visible against the wall of ice.
